Story
Hi! Let me introduce myself, and my brother: I am Lincoln (I have white paws) and this character next to me is Jackson. Our Mama is a purebred Egyptian Mau, Smoke color, and we don’t know what or where, our father is (he ran off and has not paid one dollar of child support!). Our Mama was originally purchased from a breeder, and sadly the lady who bought her let her go outside all the time, and did not fix her. So you can guess what happened! After we were born and got a little older, the lady decided she didn’t want any of us- including our mom. So Cat Posse took us all in- yippee! Jackson and I look a lot alike, except that I have white feet. We are friendly, happy kitties, and we like to run and play a lot. We are very shy when we first meet people. We also get along well with other cats, and with dogs too. We were born July 4th, and we appreciate that the country celebrates our birth with cool fireworks and stuff! We would love to live together, but know that it may not be possible. Do you have room in your heart and your home for us? For more info please contact Renee at runningrenee@netzero.com Thanks!

Story
Like so many this kitty was born outside to a homeless mother. This kitty is one of six kittens caught and kept in a 400sf travel trailer in a park with a small dog and two kind hearted senior citizens with health problems. After several months living in trailer the old couple couldn’t find a rescue to take them so they ended up in a shelter. In the shelter they completely shut down they were so terrified. Seamed un adoptable they were neutered and spayed and slated to be released as feral’s despite not being feral, never survi.ving outdoors on their own, no safe place to be released, catching colds and having become underweight having lost as much as a pound in the shelter. Rescue stepped in. Treated their colds. Helped them regain their health. And most importantly gave them love and time to once again become kittens who seek attention and love to play! As their foster, since early December, I know they will make totally awesome family members. They will likely will need a quiet safe introduction to integrating into family life but will completely bond once they are comfortable. You never know it may take a minute, hour, week… but regardless of how long they deserve to be given the time and to have their own homes ##1663255##

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. ROSITA BUSTILLOS and 12 other relatives of his were all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care. So ROSITA BUSTILLOS (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned them. With all the tragedy that has happened to this young girl and his family, she deserves to have a wonderful home. She is now been living a nice pampered life. ROSITA BUSTILLOS is a sweet, sweet cuddle bug. You can see in her sweet little face, she is has the look of wanting love. She absolutely loves to play. With everything. She really loves to play with toys, especially laser pointers and feather toys. And her family. She loves her can food. She likes to be involved. She also loves to watch tv. She needs a real family that will love him like their own family member. ROSITA BUSTILLOS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is about 10 months old and is good with cats. She has never been around young children, but she does seem very curious about dogs. ROSITA BUSTILLOS is currently at a foster home in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** NOVEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ********** PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ********** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. ROSITA BUSTILLOS is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask! If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us: Workinwhiskers2020@hotmail.com
