Story
Age: 6 Years Weight: 65lbs Good with dogs? No Good with cats? No Good with kids? Yes Energy Level: Moderate Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Meet Doodle. Doodle is a full figured English Bulldog with a story that tugs at your heart and a personality that instantly wins it over. Doodle will soon be 6 years old and she’s been through more than any dog ever should. A painful past, a bad eye that will soon be surgically removed, and a sweetly crooked face from a previous cleft palate repair, all of it coming together to create the one of a kind, unforgettable girl that is Doodle. Despite everything, Doodle is pure joy. She’s vivacious, affectionate, and endlessly happy to be near her people. She loves hard, greets everyone like a long lost friend with happy snorts and full body wiggles, and radiates gratitude for even the simplest kindness. Her imperfections don’t define her, they add to her charm and make her all the more special. She is spayed and scheduled for her eye enucleation. She is also up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. Doodle is dreaming of a home where she can be the one and only pet, soaking up all the love, attention, and spoiling she’s missed out on. A couch to claim, humans to adore (which is… literally everyone she meets), and a forever family who sees her the way we do, perfect just as she is. If you believe the best dogs are the ones who’ve survived the hardest chapters and still choose love, Doodle is waiting for you. Apply today through the link below. https://serenityanimalhospital.net/dog-adoption-application/ Once your application has been processed, our adoptions team will reach out. ------------------------------------------------ Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us. Story
Meet Mrs. Beasley! Mrs. Beasley is a charming 2-year-old English Bulldog weighing 40 pounds. She was found as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed — but this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family! Mrs. Beasley is a gentle and affectionate companion who loves attention and enjoys playing with toys. Although she has done well with other animals in her foster home, she was recently adopted and returned for growling at the resident senior pug so we are seeking a home as an only pet at this time. She would likely do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand her needs and temperament. Mrs. Beasley's weakness is stuffed animals, and she will assume that every stuffie is hers. This smart girl has demonstrated good house manners and is crate trained. She rides well in the car, making trips together enjoyable. While she tends to pull on leash walks, using a harness can help, though a securely fenced yard is our preference to give her plenty of safe space to explore and play. Mrs. Beasley is NOT suited to being tethered. Because she’s a brachycephalic breed, it’s a requirement that her new family has experience with English Bulldogs and understands their sensitivity to extreme temperatures, keeping her comfortable all year round. She also has typical Bulldog traits including luxating patellas due to diluted breeding (extremely common in this breed). This is NOT a dog for a first time dog owner. Mrs. Beasley is a relatively quiet girl who showers her family with affection. She’s looking for a loving home that will cherish her furever.   Could your family be the perfect match for Mrs. Beasley’s loving heart? She’s ready to become your loyal and devoted companion! Mrs. Beasley is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedSpayedADOPTION FEE: $450 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2605919##

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application completely. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.

Story
There seriously could not be a cuter underbite in the world, just look at those teefers! Alfie is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 31 pounds. Meet Alfie, a young, attentive boy with more of a serious nature who is in search of his forever family! This sweetie is so very connecting, what a lover. He leans in soft and loves a good belly rub, but don't be fooled by his cute side – he's also a rough-and-tumble kind of guy, so setting limits and providing leadership and boundaries will be key for him. Alfie is a smart boy who already knows the "sit" command and is eager to learn more. He is looking for an adopter who understands the bulldog breed and a home where any children are at least 13 years old. Alfie hopes you come to meet him, he would love to have a home for Christmas. If you are interested in Alfie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
