Story
Kali is almost 5 years old ( June 22, 2021), fixed, and up to date on all her shots. She’s a sweet English bulldog with all the classic traits, sleepy, snuggly, and yes, she snores. We got her as a puppy, and she has been nothing but a loving, happy companion ever since. Kali is incredibly friendly, great with people, and has a calm, easygoing personality. She enjoys short walks, lounging around, and being close to her people. She truly deserves a home where she can relax, feel loved, and get the attention she enjoys. This is a very difficult decision for us. We are relocating, I am starting a PhD program, my wife is teaching, and we recently welcomed a new baby. With everything going on, we can no longer give Kali the time she needs and deserves. We love her very much and want to find her a home where she will continue to be happy, cared for, and loved.

Story
Pudge is an adult Bully mix. He was found as a stray and never claimed. He is very sweet and playful and gets along with other dogs. He will have some special needs going forward because of his breeding so he will need a home with someone who has verified experience with a special needs dog. He is good with children but will need a home with children who understand his limitations.

Meet Toby! 🐾 We do not know his exact breed mixes. He does shed. This one-year-old mixed breed pup is full of life and ready for his next adventure. Toby loves to play, chase his toys, and of course—enjoy a good snack. At around 30 lbs, he’s a short, stocky little guy with a big personality. He’s currently working on his basic obedience and is eager to keep learning with a family of his own. Toby is ready to find a home where he can play, grow, and be loved. 💛 Apply at Realdogrescue.org/adopt

Story
For years, Gabby survived on the streets. Pregnant. Sleeping on cold concrete. Living off scraps. She was seen wandering the same neighborhood year after year — until one good human finally said, enough. At the veterinary hospital, Gabby’s body revealed the harsh reality of her past. Multiple C-section scars. Used for breeding over and over. Discarded when she was no longer considered “useful.” Gabby is healing in a foster home — curled up in a giant fluffy bed, safe and warm, perhaps for the very first time. The rest of her life should be filled with soft places, full bowls, gentle hands, and love that asks nothing from her in return. Breed: English Bulldog Weight: 44 lbs Age: 6–7 years old Vetting: spayed, vaccinated Personality: Social, low energy Dogs: not interested Cats: unknown Available in the Northeast: NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, PA, DE, MD, NoVA Apply to adopt: www.chboxerrescue.com/adopt March 7, 2026, 7:50 pm

Story
This is "Goldie". Goldie is about 90% an English Bulldog and the rest maybe American Bully. She has all the characters of an English Bulldog. Goldie is about 5 years and 7 months old and weighs about 46 pounds. Goldie comes to us with a sad story. Goldie and 2 other dogs (not related) were left behind in an apartment because their owners had no means to take care of them any longer. Someone did take the dogs from the apartment but had no place of his own to go with them. So he was desperate to find a place for these dogs. This is where we came in. We took Goldie. The other 2 dogs were taken by another rescue. All 3 dogs were not starving and they were in good health. Goldie was a little confused at first, understandably so. She is doing much better. Goldie is a sweet dog and she even looks sweet! She is calm, she sits when told and she gives her paw when asked. Goldie is a very good dog. In fact, Goldie is a great dog! Goldie gets along with other dogs and it looks like she gets along with cats. In Goldie's new home, children must be 14 years old or older. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments. Goldie came to us already spayed. She went to our veterinarian and she got her shots and tested negative for heartworm. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Goldie is $100.00 if you are the perfect family with an excellent veterinarian reference. No credit cards. If you are interested in Goldie, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. You can meet Goldie on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. Goldie will be looking for you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS !
