Story
Sweet Potato is a sweet, playful, affectionate dog. She loves a good cuddle, playing toss and fetch, as well as rope tug. She is well housetrained and crate trained — sleeps a good 8 hours in the crate without a problem each night. She knows some commands such as look, sit, come, drop it; and she seems very trainable. She plays well with other dogs and loves kids and people; she is also good with self play and self-soothing with her toys. She does bark on appropriate occasions, but doesn’t go crazy with it. We’ve seen no sign of ill temper or aggression, even when she was dopey after her spay surgery. Sweetie will be a wonderful companion, sweet tempered and well mannered as you let her know what your house rules and expectations are. Her goofy smile and super soft fur will make your day every time you see her! Are you interested in adopting Sweet Potato or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to help@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Sweet Potato. Thanks for thinking adoption!
