Story
(DOB 05/02/2025) Scout, the handsome Bulldog mix with the best eyebrows in town! Scout is a bundle of energy, curiosity, and pure joy. With his striking black muzzle and those expressive brows, he’s as adorable as he is fun-loving. Scout enjoys running and playing with both dogs and people, always eager to join in the action. On walks, his curious nature shines—he loves watching neighborhood dogs and even the horses, sometimes sitting right down in the street to observe his surroundings. One of his horse friends will even come to the fence so they can politely touch noses!
This sweet boy absolutely loves being with his people. Whether he’s playing with his toys or chewing on a bone, Scout likes to be touching someone—often draped across your legs, soaking up the connection. He’s happiest when he’s part of the household fun and near those he loves. On sunny days, you’ll often find him lounging by the storm door, basking in the light and watching the world go by.
Scout is crate trained and housebroken, and he’s able to hold it overnight. Like any young, curious pup, he can be a bit mischievous, so he does best with supervision when he’s out of his crate. He walks nicely on a leash with his harness, though he can get excited when he spots people or other animals. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for him and somewhere he can run freely and let out all that playful energy! It isn't a 100% requirement but only if his family has plans for lots of activities, playtime, other doggies in the house to play with, doggie day camp and those kinds of things.
This lovable boy rides wonderfully in the car and is always up for an adventure. He’d thrive with someone who can provide structure and patience who is consistent and loving to continue polishing his manners (someone at home a good chunck of the day is probably best at his young age; hanging in the crate all day waiting for his people come home would be a bit of a drag.). Scout would enjoy having a doggy sibling to play with, but he’d be just as happy being the center of attention as your one and only. While he loves people of all ages, his enthusiasm might be a bit much for very small children.
Scout is ready to find his forever family—a place where he can play hard, snuggle often, and soak up all the love he deserves. Could that be with you?
As part of Scout's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
