Lets talk about Winston ! I can not believe he is still with is , he is our 2nd longest resident ! Is there a reason ? He is a bulldog ! Winston liked to take walks on his own and ended up at the dog Warden's office and the owner was contacted and they came in and surrendered him after owning him his entire life 🥲 How sad is that ? He is around 7 to 8 years old ! He is good with other dogs - just pretty chill and keeps to himself alot ! His foster says he is a greay dog! Housebroken- yes once he gets over the first day of being in the home ! He is on 4 health lamb brand food because all the other food he was given gave him the itches! He does need to be fed separately from other dogs only cause he does not like to share his food- but hey that is an easy solution - would you someone else reaching on to your dish while your eating ? He also hates bathes for some reason - maybe he is part pig 🐖- who knows ! But we do know one thing he is adorable and just very mellow boy whose just patiently waiting for his new family . He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm tested , current on flea and heartworm prevention and waiting for you to come sweep him off his feet ! Could you be his person ? I have alot of energy for my age so you will get your steps in for sure! I LOVE LOVE to just snuggle & am always ready to watch movies or share dinner ! MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Balboa is a 3-year-old, 40-pound Bulldog mix with a BIG heart and an even bigger desire to be your loyal sidekick. He’s good with dogs and kids but is a firm NO for cats. He’s potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and already knows "sit" and "stay". This sweet boy has faced some tough times, but you’d never know it from the way he loves. Balboa is pure affection — a cuddly house hippo who believes personal space is a myth. If you sit down, he’s in your lap. If you walk somewhere, he’s right behind you. If you stop petting him… he kindly requests that you reconsider. Balboa LOVES car rides — maybe a little too much — and will happily try to climb into any open car door, even if it’s not yours. He’s also very food motivated, likely from past days where meals were hard to come by. Because of that, he’s still working on manners and resisting the urge to do a bit of table surfing. Often called Bobo for short, this adorable blockhead just wants a family who will give him all the love, cuddles, and snacks his heart desires. If you’re looking for a snuggly, loyal, goofy best friend who will always be by your side, Balboa is your guy. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes.
