Story
Hi Bikini! This female English Bulldog is 6 years old and was surrendered to us when she was no longer providing puppies for the mill. The best way to describe this girl is a big, sweet mush! She hasn't met a meal she didn't like and will be sure to clear any morsel of food off your kitchen floor. She adores affection and will kiss you until you just can't take it anymore. If you're looking for a running partner, this is not the pup for you. She is all potato! We've been applying balm to her nose as it was never been cared for before and is very dry. Bikini would need to meet any resident dogs, as she can be selective with who her friends are. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $500. Story
hi Lillian, Lillian is approximately 6 years old and weight 47 pounds. She was no longer a profitable breeder momma at the puppy mill and was surrendered. She is a gorgeous bulldog with a personality as big as her adorable wrinkles. She’s sweet, loyal, and full of love—but let’s be real, she’s also a little stubborn (okay, a lot stubborn). Lillian knows what she wants, and she’s not afraid to stick to her bulldog ways. She's the boss on a leash and needs a loving teacher who will show her the way. Lillian will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She would need to meet any resident dogs. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $500. Story
CODY is a three year-old English bulldog with spina bifida. This is most likely a result of inbreeding which unscrupulous breeders do to obtain unusual colors or a shortened stature. We obtained Cody when his owners felt that euthanasia was their only option. He is not mobility challenged in anyway, but he lacks tone on his tushy and does not have complete control over his poops. He will also dribble urine but has the ability to release his bladder outside. A strict schedule, good diet and a male wrap take care of 99% of his oopsies. Cody is a sweetheart! He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and he loves to run! He's pretty athletic for an English Bulldog and, as long as you avoid high humidity days, he's pretty heat tolerant and can walk up to 2 miles. Cody seems to love the water! What he loves most of all is to ride in the car! Cody will make a wonderful copilot – again, just have to be careful of the heat with bulldogs.  Cody has a little bit of separation anxiety and anxiety that makes him reactive on a leash.  His foster mom is working on these issues but it will be a work in progress. Cody will most likely require more veterinary care than the average bulldog. He is available to a family with similar experience and excellent veterinary references. The first step is to fill out an application at www.companimals.org. and once approved, we will set up a series of meet and greets and a home visit with Cody. Adoption $500. Should Cody require an MRI at any time in the future, his foster mom will personally pledge $100 towards his MRI. X-rays are available upon request if you would like to share them with your veterinarian prior to starting adoption process.November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

Goblin is a compact little beefcake who lives life to the fullest. After making few questionable life choices earlier in life, Goblin is ready to settle down and find his forever home- ideally one where he can be your one-and-only spoiled potato. He’s crate trained, knows “sit,” and loves snacks more than oxygen. He prefers to be the only pet because he is absolutely the main character. No dogs, no cats, no small kids- just you, Goblin, and an endless supply of treats. Adopt this snorty, snack-powered king before he becomes internet famous and starts demanding appearance fees. Story
Meet Berri — a tender-hearted sweetheart with a shy hello and a big personality waiting just beneath the surface. She may take a moment to read the room in a new place or with new people, but give her a little patience and you’ll quickly see the real Berri emerge… and trust us, she’s worth the wait. Once she’s settled, Berri is pure joy. She’s delightfully goofy, playful, and full of charm. Duck-footed, wiggle-butted, underbite bliss? That’s Berri. She adores other dogs, lives for zoomies, and has a knack for sneaking off with a shoe like it’s her most important mission. Life’s little celebrations are her specialty—especially if a pup cup is involved. And when she has something to say? You’ll hear it in her signature “Berri sounds,” an endearing turkey-gobble-esque commentary that’s guaranteed to make you laugh. Add in her best-in-class ears—always swiveling, always broadcasting exactly how she feels—and you’ve got a girl who wears her heart (and her emotions) right on her face. Berri is a world-class snuggler who loves being held and is happiest curled up beside her people or a canine friend. She fully supports head rubs, paw massages, and any role you’d like to take on as her personal massage therapist. She’s crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys getting out to explore. She also rides well in the car (especially with a little boost). In busier, more urban environments, she may show a bit of initial shyness—but with consistency and reassurance, her confidence continues to grow. Berri is currently fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is ready to join her forever family. Berri is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. Story
Deborah is what we lovingly refer to as “The Alexa Special™” (IYKYK), and yes — she is exactly as iconic as that sounds. Her foster mom has a type and its quite identifiable. Estimated to be around 3 years old, Deborah came to us with a robust medical history and an even more impressive list of opinions. She is not here to be low-key. She is here to be felt. It took Deborah about a week and a half to decompress and decide whether or not the dogs here were worthy of her presence — especially Ovi, who outweighs her by a casual 70 pounds. Once she makes the call that you’re her dog friend, it’s game over. Expect full-body wiggles, aggressive booty gyrations, and an energy that screams, “I live here now and I will be filing no formal notice.” She loves to play hard, then dramatically collapse next to her friends to recharge. Deborah is also the star of a nightly event known as “Witching Hour.” By 7:30 PM, she is emotionally, spiritually, and physically ready for bed. If bedtime is delayed, she will immediately audition for the next sequel to Gremlins — chaos, noises, and questionable life choices included. Routine is non-negotiable. Respect the bedtime. Learn from our mistakes. Humans? Obsessed. Deborah has loved people from day one and would thrive in a household of any makeup — kids, parents, grandparents, bonus humans, you name it. If you have hands, she expects them on her at all times. This is bulldog life, and she is your instructor. Speaking of bulldog life: Deborah is so close to being fully house trained. She understands the concept. She respects it most of the time. However, winter weather is rude, and on occasion she will choose the warm, dry floor instead — purely out of bulldog stubbornness, not confusion. She is excellent in her crate, with zero accidents since arrival. She may protest if she feels she’s been wrongfully incarcerated, but settles quickly and celebrates her release like she just beat the system. Bonus points if you catch her moonwalking away from going into her crate. Car rides? Easy. Handling? No problem. Baths and bulldog beautification? Not her favorite, but she will tolerate pampering for the sake of her inevitable glow-up. Deborah is currently being fostered in Harrisburg, PA, and potential adopters must be willing to meet her or be within a drivable distance for consideration. If you’re looking for a dog with big personality, questionable decisions, and unmatched loyalty, Deborah may very well be your girl. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
