Story
🌟 Miley – The Happy-Go-Lucky Companion You’ve Been Waiting For! 🌟 Meet Miley, a joyful young girl with a heart as big as her smile! At just around 8 months old, this mixed-breed beauty already has great manners and a whole lot of love to give. Miley recently got all her vaccinations and has been spayed, so she’s ready for her forever family! She weighs in at 39 pounds—a perfect medium size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, and does wonderfully spending the workday (about 8½ hours) in her crate without any trouble. When you’re home, she’s eager to be part of the action and may bark to remind you she’s ready for attention or playtime. Miley is great with other dogs and loves kids, though she’s a bit of a bouncy bundle of energy—so she’d do best in a home without very young children or babies. She hasn’t met cats or other animals yet, but she’s shown no signs of aggression at all—just pure excitement and affection! This girl loves the outdoors, whether she’s running, playing, or just exploring the yard—though she’ll gladly skip rainy days in favor of a cozy nap inside. 💛 Miley is the perfect match for an active home that can give her time, training, and love. In return, she’ll shower you with loyalty, laughter, and endless tail wags. 📄 Vet records and proof of spay/vaccines available upon request.

Story
CODY is a three year-old English bulldog with spina bifida. This is most likely a result of inbreeding which unscrupulous breeders do to obtain unusual colors or a shortened stature. We obtained Cody when his owners felt that euthanasia was their only option. He is not mobility challenged in anyway, but he lacks tone on his tushy and does not have complete control over his poops. He will also dribble urine but has the ability to release his bladder outside. A strict schedule, good diet and a male wrap take care of 99% of his oopsies. Cody is a sweetheart! He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and he loves to run! He's pretty athletic for an English Bulldog and, as long as you avoid high humidity days, he's pretty heat tolerant and can walk up to 2 miles. Cody seems to love the water! What he loves most of all is to ride in the car! Cody will make a wonderful copilot – again, just have to be careful of the heat with bulldogs.  Cody has a little bit of separation anxiety and anxiety that makes him reactive on a leash.  His foster mom is working on these issues but it will be a work in progress. Cody will most likely require more veterinary care than the average bulldog. He is available to a family with similar experience and excellent veterinary references. The first step is to fill out an application at www.companimals.org. and once approved, we will set up a series of meet and greets and a home visit with Cody. Adoption $500. Should Cody require an MRI at any time in the future, his foster mom will personally pledge $100 towards his MRI. X-rays are available upon request if you would like to share them with your veterinarian prior to starting adoption process.November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

Story
Meet Stella. Stella is a 6 year old English Bulldog. She came to us already spayed after her last litter of puppies from a commercial breeding kennel. Stella is very sweet. She gets along with children and dogs. Stella is a big Momma, she weighed 81 pounds when she came to us. She’s on a weight loss plan focusing on her diet and exercise. Her adopter should be prepared to continue this as it’s important for Stella to continue losing weight. She’s receiving some extra TLC to get her more comfortable in her own body. Surprisingly, she walks well on a leash and enjoys short walks throughout the day. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night and does prefer to snooze in her crate throughout the day with her door open. Stella’s had no accidents inside. At her current weight it is NOT recommended she go to a home that has multiple steps or staircases. She can go up and down one or two steps just fine if needed. While she’s fine with other dogs, I don’t think she would enjoy an overly active dog in her face. She likes her crate space respected by her furry siblings. Stella is a good patient and doesn’t mind getting her eyes and ears cleaned, nails trimmed and her face wiped. Stella will need to stay on lubricating eye medication for the rest of her life. She is spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $450.00.If you are interested in adopting Stella, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041. Story
Meet Charlene. This is what her foster mom has to say about her: This is Miss Charlene . I don't know exactly where to start... Perfection pretty well sums it up. 45 pounds of sweet, docile, wrinkled, snoring, farting PERFECTION! Charlene is a 7 year old purebred English Bulldog. Lazy? You BET! You can hear her snore through a closed door, and she really knows how to stink up a room. I absolutely adore her. Charlene has spent her entire life making babies for profit and has finally been "retired" from a local commercial breeding facility. She deserves to be spoiled for the rest of her life. Charlene has dry eye in her right eye and will need lubricating eye drops for the rest of her life. This is common issue with English Bulldogs but poor Charlene has not been treated until she came to us. Charlene is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.00. If you are interested in adopting Charlene, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application. Story
Goblin is a compact little beefcake who lives life to the fullest. After making few questionable life choices earlier in life, Goblin is ready to settle down and find his forever home- ideally one where he can be your one-and-only spoiled potato. He’s crate trained, knows “sit,” and loves snacks more than oxygen. He prefers to be the only pet because he is absolutely the main character. No dogs, no cats, no small kids- just you, Goblin, and an endless supply of treats. Adopt this snorty, snack-powered king before he becomes internet famous and starts demanding appearance fees.
