Story
Bodhi is ready to look for his forever home. Bodhi is an 8 month old Beagle/Bulldog mix who came from the Amish when he got too old to sell. He has been in foster for about a month now and is fitting in nicely. Bodhi is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. His foster mom states he is housebroken and crate trained. He is a hoarder of things so if you can’t find anything just look in your sofa cushion. Bodhi also plays well with other dogs but does like to chase cats but only to play. Story
Meet Bach! I am a 3 year old Merle English Bulldog who was surrendered by a commercial breeder. If you are looking for a friend to confidently lead you everywhere you go? Then I am your guy! The first thing you need to know about me is that I am blind and I'm missing an eye. I bring this up because when you meet me it may not be immediately apparent. I have so much confidence and do everything with gusto! As Miley Cyrus said, "I come in like a wrecking ball" (LITERALLY). My foster family says that I would confidently lead you off a cliff. I have amazing hearing and sense of smell and use both of those senses to find my way around. I love to go outside. I would really benefit from a family who has a fenced in yard so I can spend my days basking in the sun safely. I love toys that simulate my senses- things that are crinkly or squeak. My foster family has a variety of toys to keep me happy. I have even started using a snuffle mat. I have been learning so many new things while at my foster home including finding my voice so I am able to communicate with my new family. I am crate trained but be aware that regression is common when adjusting to a new environment. In my foster home I have lived with another bulldog and cats. I'm not phased by either of them, usually preferring to be with my people and my toys. Because of my "wrecking ball" status, younger children are not preferred in my new home. Kids over the age of 12 would be best! I walk well on a leash but I am VERY strong, that's what my foster mom says. I'm really just a big baby looking for couch snuggles and love! Bach is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered. Bulldog experience is necessary for him. If you think Bach would be a great addition to your home, please apply today!

Harley is a sweet gentle English bulldog. She loves to cuddle and get all the attention. She can be territorial with other dogs about her toys though so we would prefer her to be an only dog.

Story
Meet Bria the special needs English Bulldog. Bria has Spina Bifida and is looking for a special adopter that will understand and take care of her needs. She is about 5 months old now. She has no use of her hind legs so she needs to be either in what is called a drag bag or a wheelchair. Spina Bifida dogs are usually incontinent and that is the case with Bria. She is a diaper dog. There are so many positives to caring for a dog like this - you don't have to go out in the weather for potty breaks! Bria is a very typical bulldog and needs structure in her life.  If you are interested in adopting visit our website www.outcastrescue.com to submit an applicationApril 26, 2024, 9:56 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/24/24 Still available! 2/4/24 *Bonded pair*.  Shortbread (brindle) and Poundcake (brown) are absolutely precious! These little girls are 4 months old. They were surrendered to our rescue by the breeder because they both have Spina Bifida. They have no mobility issues at all- the only symptom is that they are both bladder and bowel incontinent. They will always have to wear diapers. The upside is that you don't have to worry about house training them! These are probably the easiest pups I've ever had. They don't get into things, not big chewers, easy to correct, and they love to snuggle, but if you can't snuggle, they will find a soft spot to snuggle with each other or play together. They are just as sweet as can be, and you have to admit, they are incredibly cute in their little diapers and suspenders! Even though they are still just babies, they are old souls. Despite the diapers, they are very easy to care for. We have them sleep in a crate together, without their diapers, on a grid, so their pee/poop goes under them, and they aren't sitting in it. In the mornings, they eat in their crate, then about 30 min after eating, I put their diapers on them and they come out for the day. I usually only change them one time throughout the day. Then, at night, I remove their diapers and put them back in their crates to eat dinner, and they are perfectly content to go to bed and rest for the remainder of the night. They love to go outside on nice days and explore the yard, but it should be noted that as English Bulldogs, they should never be allowed to stay outside on warm days due to their increased risk for heat stroke. They love being picked up and held or just talked to. They are very affectionate, but not at all demanding. They must be adopted together and stay together. Before applying, please think about whether you will want to deal with diapers on 2 dogs for the next 10+ years. While they are very easy, it is still a major commitment, and I don't want them to ever be separated or booted outside due to their adopter getting frustrated. So please put a lot of thought into whether you are ready for that kind of commitment. They are not free, nor will they be a deeply discounted adoption. Even though they have Spina Bifida, they are still wonderful, and I want them to go to someone who knows their worth and will love them, diapers and all. They are special to me and can stay here with me for however long it takes to find them the perfect home. Please private message for info on the adoption fee. They are up to date on vaccinations and I have had them spayed and microchipped.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
