He needed a home because he was out on the street but I unfortunately received bad health news that will make it impossible to keep with all the time I will have to spend in and out of the hospital. He's almost 4 years old now and would make a wonderful pet. I got him at the york spca. They are wonderful people. He's very friendly with everyone.

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.This is Flicker. She is super sweet. Will be 2 years old this year. She's a fat girl that requires very little food yet stays pretty fat on little. She does good with other dogs. I think she would do good with bigger kids like 10 and up. Wouldn't purposely hurt a small kid but may plow right over them. She has a shy side, a lazy side and a hyper side where she has burst of energy. She has some flank alopecia in spots on her rump and sides but it seems to come and go. She is a really sweet girl. Can be messy in the house and crate at times but it's usually not her fault. Does really good when taken out consistently but if you are away too long, you can look forward to a mess to clean up when you return. She gets along with cats okay and other bulldogs and my Great Pyrenees. She is very loving and enjoys short bouts of play, followed by long naps. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines. Flicker is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. Meet Axle. Axle came to us as a local surrender due to no fault of his own.This high energy, handsome, Old English Bulldog is 5 years young. Axle plays rough and needs super tough toys. He can sit and give paw although his paws are like bear claws! Taking treats needs some coaching to "take it nicely". Crating him goes well when you toss in a few treats and ask him to crate up. He is also fed in the crate. He is 4 legs with 70 lbs of muscle and rough houses with his foster family dogs and chases the cat, but it's all in fun. He can be easily redirected when he gets to be too much for his furry friends. He is going to want to sleep on your bed to be his happiest. Axle is house trained. He's very lovable and when he settles down and he will often sit with you and watch the Phillies game. Axle is now neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped.
