PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/24/24 Still available! 2/4/24 *Bonded pair*.  Shortbread (brindle) and Poundcake (brown) are absolutely precious! These little girls are 4 months old. They were surrendered to our rescue by the breeder because they both have Spina Bifida. They have no mobility issues at all- the only symptom is that they are both bladder and bowel incontinent. They will always have to wear diapers. The upside is that you don't have to worry about house training them! These are probably the easiest pups I've ever had. They don't get into things, not big chewers, easy to correct, and they love to snuggle, but if you can't snuggle, they will find a soft spot to snuggle with each other or play together. They are just as sweet as can be, and you have to admit, they are incredibly cute in their little diapers and suspenders! Even though they are still just babies, they are old souls. Despite the diapers, they are very easy to care for. We have them sleep in a crate together, without their diapers, on a grid, so their pee/poop goes under them, and they aren't sitting in it. In the mornings, they eat in their crate, then about 30 min after eating, I put their diapers on them and they come out for the day. I usually only change them one time throughout the day. Then, at night, I remove their diapers and put them back in their crates to eat dinner, and they are perfectly content to go to bed and rest for the remainder of the night. They love to go outside on nice days and explore the yard, but it should be noted that as English Bulldogs, they should never be allowed to stay outside on warm days due to their increased risk for heat stroke. They love being picked up and held or just talked to. They are very affectionate, but not at all demanding. They must be adopted together and stay together. Before applying, please think about whether you will want to deal with diapers on 2 dogs for the next 10+ years. While they are very easy, it is still a major commitment, and I don't want them to ever be separated or booted outside due to their adopter getting frustrated. So please put a lot of thought into whether you are ready for that kind of commitment. They are not free, nor will they be a deeply discounted adoption. Even though they have Spina Bifida, they are still wonderful, and I want them to go to someone who knows their worth and will love them, diapers and all. They are special to me and can stay here with me for however long it takes to find them the perfect home. Please private message for info on the adoption fee. They are up to date on vaccinations and I have had them spayed and microchipped.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
"Hey there! I'm Opaline! My foster mama calls me Opal (or Opie), and you can too! I am a sweet, easy going gal. I love to eat and I like fluffy beds. I was surrendered to Zoe's House in late February by a commercial breeder. Prior to coming to Zoe's, I had no experience living in a home. I have quickly learned that I like to wander the yard, and I definitely love curling up by the fire place! At 5 years old, I'm a stout 50lbs of love! I would be much healthier at about 40-45lbs. I came to Zoe's as a bit of a mess medically. I had given birth via c-section a few months prior to being surrendered, and it was still kind of sore because the stitches had not been removed when they should have been. I had narrow nasal passages and really bad teeth. Zoe's House took great care of me. My c-section sutures were cleaned and removed, I got spayed, I had dental work, and I got a nasal nares correction. I can breathe so much easier now! I am a bit of a scaredy cat with new things, but I ADORE all people and usually good with other dogs! Sometimes I am grumpy with male dogs. When I am scared I will pancake to the floor and refuse to move. I am a typical stubborn bulldog, and my foster mom has gotten used to waiting for me to get brave and move when I am ready. I like to follow other dogs around, if it's safe for them it must be safe for me too! I would do best in a home with another dog who is confident and relaxed. I am very loving, and sometimes my love is a bit heavy pawed so I may not be the best fit for small kids I can knock over. However, if they are used to dogs bumping into them, we might be best friends!" Opaline is about halfway housebroken, and her new family should expect to continue helping her learn through positive reinforcement and routine. She is a very sensitive girl who loves to be praised when she has done a good job! She does not require a fenced yard but will need to be kept on a leash, as she loves to wander. Opal is being fostered in southern Lancaster county pa. Interested families must be willing to travel to her foster home twice to adopt her. The first visit is a meet and greet with all members of the household, including resident dogs. After the meet and greet a date for adoption will be agreed upon. Opaline is spayed, had dental work, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has been treated with monthly parasite preventatives. Story
Everyone, meet Puddin. Puddin is a 4y old English bulldog and just the cutest little tater tot ever. Puddin is a retired breeder mama and has really taken to the life of a house dog Hi Friends, Im Puddin. I'm on the search for my family... could you be them?!? I'm a super snuggly little lady and I love being with my people. I don't mind my foster siblings but I prefer my foster mom more. Puddin is still learning about a leash but she is doing very well. She is also doing very well with potty training. Puddin has not spent anytime in a crate since he has been in foster care. Her foster mom gates her off in a small room and she has been perfectly content. Puddin is UTD on all her vaccines and preventatives and she has already been spayed. She has also had her nares and palate fixed and is doing very well. If you feel like she would make a great addition to your family please visit our website at www.Zoeshouserescue.com and apply. Everyone, meet Starburst. Starburst is a 4y old 52lb English Bulldog and she is just the cutest little meatball. Starburst is a retired commercial breeding mama Hi Friends, Im Starburst. I'm on the search for my family... could you be them?!? I'm a super chill meatball who doesn't need much to be happy, a cool couch or a warm spot in the sun are 2 of my new favorite things. I share my foster home with other dogs and cats and I could care less about either. Sometimes I like to play but most times I'll find me snoozing away somewhere. Starburst is doing really well on a leash but does tire quickly so big walks come with lots of breaks. She is also doing very well with potty training. Starburst has not spent any time in a crate, her foster mom gates her off in a small room and she has been perfectly content. Story
Meet Bach! I am a 3 year old Merle English Bulldog who was surrendered by a commercial breeder. If you are looking for a friend to confidently lead you everywhere you go? Then I am your guy! The first thing you need to know about me is that I am blind and I'm missing an eye. I bring this up because when you meet me it may not be immediately apparent. I have so much confidence and do everything with gusto! As Miley Cyrus said, "I come in like a wrecking ball" (LITERALLY). My foster family says that I would confidently lead you off a cliff. I have amazing hearing and sense of smell and use both of those senses to find my way around. I love to go outside. I would really benefit from a family who has a fenced in yard so I can spend my days basking in the sun safely. I love toys that simulate my senses- things that are crinkly or squeak. My foster family has a variety of toys to keep me happy. I have even started using a snuffle mat. I have been learning so many new things while at my foster home including finding my voice so I am able to communicate with my new family. I am crate trained but be aware that regression is common when adjusting to a new environment. In my foster home I have lived with another bulldog and cats. I'm not phased by either of them, usually preferring to be with my people and my toys. Because of my "wrecking ball" status, younger children are not preferred in my new home. Kids over the age of 12 would be best! I walk well on a leash but I am VERY strong, that's what my foster mom says. I'm really just a big baby looking for couch snuggles and love! Bach is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered. Bulldog experience is necessary for him. If you think Bach would be a great addition to your home, please apply today!
