Meet Stella. Stella is a 6 year old English Bulldog. She came to us already spayed after her last litter of puppies from a commercial breeding kennel. Stella is very sweet. She gets along with children and dogs. Stella is a big Momma, she weighed 81 pounds when she came to us. She’s on a weight loss plan focusing on her diet and exercise and now weighs 67 lbs. Her adopter should be prepared to continue this as it’s important for Stella to continue losing weight. She’s receiving some extra TLC to get her more comfortable in her own body. Surprisingly, she walks well on a leash and enjoys short walks throughout the day. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night and does prefer to snooze in her crate throughout the day with her door open. Stella’s had no accidents inside. At her current weight it is NOT recommended she go to a home that has multiple steps or staircases. She can go up and down one or two steps just fine if needed. While she’s fine with other dogs, I don’t think she would enjoy an overly active dog in her face. Stella loves to chew on hard bones. She likes her crate space respected by her furry siblings. Stella is a good patient and doesn’t mind getting her eyes and ears cleaned, nails trimmed and her face wiped. Stella will need to stay on lubricating eye medication for the rest of her life. She is spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Meet Strawberry After years of being a breeder mom, she is looking for a home where *she* is the baby. Strawberry is 5 years old and 47lbs. She is on a little weight loss journey but only has a few more pounds to go. Strawberry is pure love. Sweet, gentle, and louder than your vacuum. She’s the perfect couch potato, provided you’re okay with a quick daily wrinkle-wipe and eye-cleaning routine. Keep the folds fresh, and she’ll keep the snores coming! She adores people and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is currently working on housebreaking in her foster home. We did find out that Strawberry is blind in one eye, however that doesn't seem to bother her one bit. If your couch has a Strawberry-sized opening for a loyal, laid-back companion, she’s waiting for you. Strawberry is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped.
