Im originally from South Carolina, and lets just say my journey to get here was a little bumpy. But guess what? Im doing SO much better now! Im putting on weight, feeling happier, and discovering that life can actually be pretty wonderful when you have people rooting for you. I may have had a rough start, but Im making up for lost time one snack, nap, cuddle, and happy wiggle at a time. Speaking of snacks I am VERY food motivated. This is excellent news for anyone interested in training me because I firmly believe that most life decisions can be negotiated with treats. Im currently doing well with my house and crate training, and Im proud of the progress Im making. Im a smart girl, especially when theres something delicious involved. Personality-wise, I am basically a professional happiness dispenser. Im super sweet, affectionate, and an absolute affection hog. If you sit down, I will likely assume that means you have volunteered to cuddle me. If you are standing, I may stare at you until you reconsider and sit down. If you are relaxing, I will be nearby supervising. I simply believe humans should never have to experience the inconvenience of being without a bulldog pressed against them. Im also dog friendly, which means Im happy to make furry friends and share my world with other pups. I have that classic bulldog personality where I can be equal parts hilarious, stubborn, loving, and completely convinced that whatever Im doing is obviously the correct thing to be doing. And then theres my snoring. Friends, I do not merely snore. I produce a soundscape. I snore like a freight train coming through town at 2 a.m. with absolutely no intention of slowing down. You will hear me. Your neighbors may hear me. Wildlife in the surrounding area may become aware of my presence. But honestly, once you fall in love with me, my freight-train snores will probably become one of those things you find ridiculously endearing. I have a personality that is guaranteed to make you smile. Im sweet, goofy, affectionate, food-motivated, dog-friendly, and learning more every day. Ive already overcome a bumpy chapter, and now Im ready for the really good part: finding my forever family. Im looking for someone who will appreciate a bulldog who loves hard, cuddles enthusiastically, eats with purpose, snores without apology, and believes every available lap is a potential personal lounge chair. Ive come a long way, and Im doing well. Now I just need someone to finish the story with me. Fair warning: adopt me and youre not just getting a dog.
