Ginger is a sweet mature girl! Her owner could no longer take care of her and her best friend Bella. They arrived to the shelter on 12/3. Ginger is 8 years young and weighs in at 54 pounds. She truly is a lady and is great on a leash. She knows to sit when asked and takes her treats gently. Her and Bella are bonded do not leave each other's side. It is reported that she is dog friendly. Ginger and Bella sure could use a home. Would you give them a chance? Ask for ID# 15446 Run 853. She will not be spayed at the shelter due to her age. She will be micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
