Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! **Now fostered in Bothell, WA** Flynn is a 7.5-month-old Australian Shepherd/Pittie mix (we think! It's always a guess with rescue) with velvet-soft white fur and tan splotches that make him look as sweet as he truly is. At about 25 pounds, this little guy has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle-bug charm. He's quite tiny so we expect him to be on the smaller side once full grown. Flynn is currently fostered with his brother (also available for adoption!), two other dogs, and two kids—and he’s doing wonderfully with them all. He loves to romp around with his doggy friends and play with the kids, then happily curl up for a snuggle session afterward. Flynn hasn't shown any fear when experiencing new things like Halloween costumes and would make a great dog to take everywhere. Flynn loves to pose for the camera and even enjoys going to work with his foster dad and mom. He's a great sounding board but will sleep on the job. **Now fostered in Bothell, WA** Flynn is a 7.5-month-old Australian Shepherd/Pittie mix (we think! It's always a guess with rescue) with velvet-soft white fur and tan splotches that make him look as sweet as he truly is. At about 25 pounds, this little guy has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle-bug charm. He's quite tiny so we expect him to be on the smaller side once full grown. Flynn is currently fostered with his brother (also available for adoption!), two other dogs, and two kids—and he’s doing wonderfully with them all. He loves to romp around with his doggy friends and play with the kids, then happily curl up for a snuggle session afterward. Flynn hasn't shown any fear when experiencing new things like Halloween costumes and would make a great dog to take everywhere. Flynn loves to pose for the camera and even enjoys going to work with his foster dad and mom. He's a great sounding board but will sleep on the job. He recently had some fun meeting Santa and riding a boat with his foster family! He’s 100% potty trained and is crate trained. Flynn will need thrive in a family committed to continuing his training and socialization. Milo Miles is his name and he is a ridiculously cute, border collie looking boy with a bright brain, solid manners, and a curled tail that looks like it is signing autographs as he walks by. Milo is estimated to be just shy of 7 months old, he weighs 38 lbs andalthough he has some border collie looks, he doesn't have the classic high-energy work force typically synonymous with the breed. On leash, he’s got great basic skills and the kind of smarts that makes training feel like teamwork instead of a chore. His vibe is medium energy: ready to learn, ready to explore, and very ready to come back inside and be a calm, easy roommate. Milo is welcoming when meeting new people but doesn’t rush into commitments or labels. He likes to get to know you, observe, sniff, and then decides if you’re officially in the friends or besties category. If living with a cat in the home he would benefit from having a playful dog buddy so all of his playfulness isnt directed at the cat. Small dog lovers who have always wanted a big dog- search no more! We have the perfect dog for you! This beautiful girl weighs 55 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. We think she is a Kelpie/Husky/shepherd mix, but we aren’t really sure, so we just call her our Texas Special- the very best breed! Trixie is being fostered with nine small grumpy dogs and has been a big foster sister to many more. It is funny to watch her gently play with them, and then she takes it in stride when they growl and snap at her. She shares toys and will lets them take toys from her- even thought she is 6 times their size! In play groups with other big dogs Trixie is very shy and stays on the sidelines. She will sniff calmer dogs, but doesn't want to get in the mix of things. For this reason, we think Trixie would thrive in a home with small dogs. She’s become her little shadow, quietly trailing from room to room to be nearby in hopes of sneaking in a belly rub. No one in the house is happier to see her foster mom when she comes home than Trixie, who bounds up to her like she has been gone days, even if it has only been 15 minutes. Like many herding breeds, Trixie uses her mouth to communicate and can be “mouthy”. She would do best with older kids who understand she is being playful. Looking for a buddy to grab a morning coffee or late night ice cream treat with? Trixie would love to join you! She is an excellent car rider and knows how to “load up”. She is great on the leash and loves to go for walks and to dog friendly stores. She walks by people and dogs with ease. This girl does like to watch squirrels and bunnies- and would give them a chase if allowed. Trixie gets lots of zoomies- and loves to go outside and run laps in the yard. She also enjoys basking in the sun watching the world go by. A home with a fenced yard she can run around in would be ideal for her. Trixie potty trained and crate trained. She is not the biggest fan of the crate and will complain for a while, but will settle down when she can no longer see you, for this reason she would not do well in an apartment. Trixie met our housecat Biggie and was gently curious, giving respectful sniffs before moving along. She’s considered cat tolerant and could do well in a home with a dog-savvy feline who won’t mind the occasional gentle inspection. Trixie is searching for a quiet, peaceful home where she can feel safe and adored, a place with a yard to explore, and a person to lean into and little dogs to play with. She would love to go on a good walk or an adventure up the mountains.
