Story
Meet Hartman Marina!! He is a unique looking pup. He is catahoula/shepherd mix. He is a fine looking fellow. Hartman is white with beautiful brindle markings around both eyes. I mean who can resist those floppy ears. He is definitely a head turner. He weighs estimate 20lbs and doesn’t really expect to get much bigger. This little pup had a rough start into the world. He was abandoned and left for dead along with his brother Fred under a bridge in Baytown, TX. He luck would soon turn around after he was spotted by a boating couple on their way back to the Marina. They say all they saw in the darkness of night were a pair of glowing eyes on the shore and as they approached a second pair of eyes peeked out from behind a rock and just like that they were saved. Hardman is a sweet and kind puppy, who has your typical puppy energy that any 5 month old puppy would have. He is a happy go lucky little guy who loves everyone in his path. He is also compatible with any size dog and cat friendly and loves children. He enjoys playing fetch and will bring the object back to you to throw it again, and also playing tug of war is his fav. He also likes to look at himself in the dresser mirror when he’s on the bed and then trying to find the dog on the other side. He’s quite the character. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He would want nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with you during movie night. He definitely loves his canine companions. So he would be over joyed having a pal to pal around with. He is still a puppy so he will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization, and all the things that come with raising a puppy. He is potty trained and crate trained , and sits on command. He will hold a conversation with you as well lol. He picks up very quickly with commands. I’m telling you, Hartman will steal your heart the moment you meet him. Hartman is currently being fostered in Marysville, WA and is eligible to meet and greet! Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Story
Introducing this cute little energetic pup Sawyer Shep! Sawyer is super floofy with a soft black and brown coat. He is currently 12 weeks old and we believe he is a mini Aussie mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! This boy weighs about 15 lbs and is so playful and sweet. Sawyer is such an happy boy! He can’t wait to run and play and get all his zoomies out then lay in your lap and be cuddled. He is still learning what is means to be a puppy! We believe Sawyer will be around 30-40 lbs. We don’t know what size or breed his parents were so this is just a guess! This cutie would do well in a home with other dogs and kids. He would also benefit from a fenced in back yard where he can run and play to his hearts context. Sawyer is young and his personality is changing and evolving all the time! He will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, he will make up for it with a bunch of kisses and puppy snuggles! His new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As he gets older, we anticipate he will likely require daily physical and mental exercise. He will be perfect to take on walks around the neighborhood, family trips and occasional hikes! Story
Meet Fred Marina! An adorable mixed breed - he is a cute looking guy. We have no idea of his definite age or breed since he is a rescue. He is a quiet pup, not a lot of barking. He is a good boy! Fred is black and tan with a white belly. He has gorgeous brown eyes that are hard to say no to. Check out my video here: https://youtu.be/eja1wxFwlao Fred is a HAPPY pup who loves everything and everyone. He is down to have a good time and would make a great outdoor activity companion. He loves running in the yard, playing tug of war, and chasing his tail. He is a bit of a goofball but he will keep a smile on your face. He is also extremely cuddly and sweet. Loves to lay on your lap and give kisses. He's a big foodie! His pawrents say he's pretty smart, and been learning new tricks and manners. He's a good listener. Sometimes can be a little mouthy but we are sure he'll grow out of it. Things that push his buttons are- dogs that don’t want to play with me, waiting too long for dinner service, and when his tennis ball gets stuck under the couch. He is really social with other dogs and humans- haven’t found a human he hasn't liked yet! Can he come home with you?? He promises he'll sleep through the night in his crate and give you the most adorable puppy kisses and big stretches in the morning. Fred also loves treats and will do anything for a treat! He is a looker that gets a lot of attention. He is 20 pounds now and hope he'll grow to be 40-50 pounds. Fred is currently being fostered in Marysville, WA and is eligible for a meet and greet! Story
Moe is 7 and a half, adopted from the oregon humane society in 2017, he is an Australian Shepherd / Pitty mix, up to date on shots. He is a very sweet and loyal boy, loves going for walks, camping, chasing squirrels and taking naps. Likely looking for an active home that can give him lots of attention and play time. Moe is energetic, and free spirited, but loves to follow you around and be your buddy. Moe has been around children, though infrequently, and has behaved appropriately. Some things to know: Moe is very enthusiastic about new guests, he barks when overstimulated. He does a good job of knowing what's his, but may get into things left open. May struggle with recall, but seems to be very trainable, his walks have all been on a leash in recent years as he gets distracted easily. Moe was also abandoned by his last owner, and appreciates consistency and loyalty. Moe has many toys, treats, and bedding that he is familiar with and can bring along with him.

Story
In Fort Rock, Oregon Hi, I'm Penelope! I'm a year and a half old energetic girl looking for a home where I can run and play fetch, go on frequents hikes, roll in the grass and curl up on your bed or sofa. I'm 53 lbs, strong and an extremely fast runner - but gentle taking treats from your hand! I'm spayed, up to date on all vaccinations. I love hugs and belly rubs! I love playing with other dogs, wrestling, and a good game of chase. I have a little initial fear of new people and other dogs but warm up quickly. I've learned a lot of new commands and manners at my foster home, but you'll be able to teach me even more because I'm a good listener! I'm a hugger and a kisser, so hopefully you are too. If you have another energetic canine for me to play with that would be the best, I love having a buddy my size! If Penelope sounds like a great fit for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/old-adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
It's with a heavy heart we need to rehome Maverick. He and Koda are getting into fights and one of them resulted in an emergency vet visit that required stitches. Maverick is a 1 year old male full bred Australian Sheperd, he is not papered. He is fully vaccinated and neutered. He is still very active, he loves the attention of the human masters. He is crate and room trained, but can have issues if you leave him alone with free reign of the house. We have a decent yard where he gets his exercise, but needs work with his leash training. He is working on it, but sometimes hops around like a deer. As you can see he is the sweetest boy, but thinking if someone can give him more attention than us and not having another alpha dog. He is fine with smaller dogs, though he may annoy them as he wants to play and they don't (well at least our small dogs, as they are older).

Hachi has a sweet and gentle personality around people she knows and love. She is good around other dogs but occasionally wants to "herd" them by barking briefly. She loves to fetch and play keep away. She is primarily an indoor dog but enjoys being outside in a kennel or on a cable or lead. When she is on a lead, she heels very well with the occasional pulling ahead typical of Aussies. We acquired Hachi as a pup from a breeder who specializes in Australian Shepherds. She is now 12 yrs & 4 mos. old. We are needing to find a new home for her because we are moving to a retirement community and cannot take her with us.

The owner says that she chews on things and jumps up on counters. They say they've tried to teach her not to but it didn't work and that she'll be better off with someone who has the time and talent to do so. Story
In search of a serial kisser, the best kind of serial out there, right? Well then I, Mandy, am the dog for you! I'm a mix of awesomeness and 5 years old. I can be laid back and chill or a bouncing ball of joy! I love walks and jogs, with you of course. I also love playing with other dogs. I love it so much, I prefer playing with other dogs over playing with toys. Something else I love, sunbathing! Does your couch have the perfect spot to lay and catch rays? Well then I should absolutely be laying there. I really enjoy laying around, like under tables. Dinner time? I'm under that table. Working at your desk? I'm laying under that too. You laying in bed? Guess what. I'm there too. I'm all about my people and if you adopt me then I'll be all about you! Mandy is a 5 year old mix. She is good with other dogs and kids (works best with submissive/non-dominant dogs). She is crate trained and potty trained with a doggy door. She knows the commands to go to her crate and to sit. She eats her meals in her crate and will routinely relax in it during the day. She loves food and will steal any if you're not watching. She will do best in a yard that has a secured bottom. ***Mandy has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which basically means, my pancreas has not been producing the yummy enzymes I need to adequately digest my food. Because my rescuers were SO astute and proactive, they figured it out (with help of the vet, of course). I will require a certain diet and supplement, highly digestible and low fat foods along with a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement. Basically, every meal I get an appetizer and entree. Easy pleasy. EPI does not necessarily require "prescription" food, and Mandy has drastically improved since the Pancreatic Enzymes added to her diet*** She will need enzymes for life, however, you will get serial kisses day in and day out too.... a great trade off :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Portland, Oregon too!

It's Kuma!!! https://youtube.com/shorts/TlWf4zfDG6o?feature=share WATER DOG ALERT!! https://youtube.com/shorts/zUSDKRzr4lE?feature=share *Fostered in Bellingham, WA and ready for meet and greets!* Are you looking for an adventure buddy? Look no further than Kuma Booma! https://youtu.be/eEO6Koo6RKw At 2 years old & 55 lbs- This affectionate, curious and rambunctious young pup is currently located in Bellingham, WA, where he’s been learning all about what it takes to be the goodest PNW boy. A natural athlete with webbed toes who LOVES water in all forms (even baths!), we can envision him becoming that dog who launches himself off the end of a dock after a frisbee, if that’s your thing! Kuma is a total goofball who will keep you laughing with his exuberance for life and silly antics. He absolutely loves to be with his people and is happiest when he can be included in all the fun. An ideal day for Kuma is a day filled with walks, hikes, or playing outside, followed by an evening cuddling up to you on the couch. If Kuma had a motto for life, it would be “play hard, but snuggle harder.” Kuma has been working hard on basic training and hopes to find a family that will continue this. He is food and affection motivated, making him eager to please and easy to train. He’s close to mastering loose-leash walks and understands basic commands like sit, lay down and wait. He’s potty trained and crate trained, too! He’s a moderate to high energy boy, but we think a lot of that is simply due to his young age. He gets along great with other dogs and kids, but can get very excited with new people and places. He’s learned not to jump up on his fosters, but needs reminders with new friends and help learning how to pick up on social cues from other dogs -- particularly when it’s time to take a break from play. So, for now he would do best in a home without small kids. As far as siblings go, he would thrive as an only pup or with another dog of a similar size and energy level. A fully fenced yard is a must and no cats for this high speed guy. We think Kuma is the best and we love this sweet boy to pieces. All that’s missing is a home to call his own! Kuma is an adorable boy who will love you forever and he is just looking the same in return!! All her puppies are listed for adoption to the PNW but we NEVER leave momma behind. So now it's her turn! Jazzy is SUPER sweet & affectionate. She's just now learning what it means to be a pet. To just let her guard down and be able to just enjoy being loved on. She's doing FANTASTIC and has quickly become a staff favorite! Just watch her video to see how sweet and gentle she is on a leash! She's been around cats and is super curious about them but doesn't give chase or show a prey drive. With proper slow introductions she should be fine with cats. Jazzy is such a beautiful, sweet soul. She needs you! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Hello, World. Meet Zhanna! -ADVENTURE PARTNER -OUTDOOR SUPERSTAR Zhanna is currently about 4 months old and we think she may be a Lab mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! From her foster: "She is a true herding dog and thrives with a family. She gets bored easily and will find something to do - So she'll keep you busy! She is so smart - good and bad. You gotta keep her busy too lol. She is protective and has a strong personality" Zhanna is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Zhanna is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Zhanna is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Don't miss out on this amazing girl!
