Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. Story
Meet Miss Kitty – A Heart Ready to Bloom  Miss Kitty’s story is one of transformation, hope, and quiet bravery. This stunning 2-year-old Aussie mix (around 70 lbs) was once part of a large group of neglected dogs—left without love, attention, or hugs daily.  The days of indifference from humans are long behind her. With the help of a kind foster home, Miss Kitty has discovered the beauty of human kindness, human touch and now she’s ready to find a forever family of her own.  In just two months, she’s blossomed from a shy, uncertain girl into a dog who seeks out affection and enjoys the company of people—especially children, who she now happily follows with her tail wagging. She’s gentle with dogs of all sizes and loves running and playing with her friends in open spaces. Cats are still a mystery to her, but she’s learned to coexist respectfully.Miss Kitty is still gaining confidence with new experiences—like walking on a leash and spending time indoors—but her courage grows every day. She’s curious, sweet, and has a heart that’s learning to trust completely. With a little patience and a lot of love, this beautiful girl will reward her forever family with endless devotion and loyalty. If you’re looking to make a difference in a dog’s life and watch a soul truly bloom, Miss Kitty is waiting for you.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Miss Kitty today!   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Quinn is a beautiful tricolor Australian Shepherd who has known a lifetime of love — and now finds himself needing one more chance. At 6 years old, this mellow, kind-hearted boy is not old, just settled and soulful. He was raised from a puppy by elderly owners who adored him completely, and while that love came with far too many extra meals and treats, it also gave Quinn a gentle spirit and deep trust in people. He currently weighs around 80 pounds, but with properly measured food and daily walks, his healthy weight of 50 to 55 pounds is well within reach.   Quinn’s life was turned upside down when his owners moved into assisted living, and he had to say goodbye to the only home he had ever known on New Year’s Eve. He misses them, and that quiet sadness lingers, but it has not dimmed his sweetness or his willingness to connect. He has lived harmoniously with cats, dogs, chickens, and goats, and brings a calm, respectful presence wherever he goes.   This boy is housebroken, non-destructive, and content to relax when left alone. He can use a crate if needed but does not require one. Right now, stairs are difficult due to his weight, but he manages them and will improve greatly as his health journey progresses. With gentle daily walks, proper portions, and a human who believes in him, Quinn can safely lose weight and rediscover the joy of movement over the coming months.   Quinn has many good years ahead of him and so much love still to give. He doesn’t need perfection — just patience, understanding, and someone willing to walk beside him as he begins again. If you feel drawn to give this deserving Aussie a new life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com as soon as possible. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
