Story
Izzy is a beautiful 4 year old, 55 pound Australian Shepherd beauty with a quiet, loving soul and a heart shaped by both deep love and loss. Once owned by a lovely woman who made Izzy the center of her world, our girl Izzy lost this wonderful owner 2 years ago to cancer.  A kind neighbor took care of Izzy and another dog while they lived in the now vacant home of her deceased owner.  Izzy was maintained in a very isolated and limited world of that house.  She was fed and given a few pets daily and fresh water.  Izzy's life changed forever 2 years ago in a way she couldn't understand.  The mortgage was paid on the house for those 2 years and now it has been sold and Izzy must leave immediately and by December 20th.  The clock is ticking for her life once again.  Change is about to come.  Through this all Izzy has maintained her gentle nature with a sweet, calm and afffectionate softness still showing through in her personality.  She never asks for much but offers steady companionship and devotion once she feels secure. She has lived well with other dogs and around farm animals, showing her easygoing and adaptable personality.  Izzy enjoys simple pleasures: riding quietly in the car, curling up on a couch, and being pampered with the occasional grooming session. What she wants most is a calm, consistent home and a person to call her own — someone who will let her take life at her own pace and remind her that she’s cherished. Izzy is ready for a new chapter — one filled with comfort, routine, and the kind of love that lasts forever. She has so much tenderness to give and is patiently waiting for the home where she can finally settle in and belong.  Can you foster Izzy or even better offer her a forever resting place to lay her head and to offer you her unconditional love?  Please hurry and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com The Christmas rush is here but Izzy's life is not just about opening presents under the tree, but opening a new chapter in her life that has stability and a promise of deep love.       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Miss Kitty – A Heart Ready to Bloom  Miss Kitty’s story is one of transformation, hope, and quiet bravery. This stunning 2-year-old Aussie mix (around 70 lbs) was once part of a large group of neglected dogs—left without love, attention, or hugs daily.  The days of indifference from humans are long behind her. With the help of a kind foster home, Miss Kitty has discovered the beauty of human kindness, human touch and now she’s ready to find a forever family of her own.  In just two months, she’s blossomed from a shy, uncertain girl into a dog who seeks out affection and enjoys the company of people—especially children, who she now happily follows with her tail wagging. She’s gentle with dogs of all sizes and loves running and playing with her friends in open spaces. Cats are still a mystery to her, but she’s learned to coexist respectfully.Miss Kitty is still gaining confidence with new experiences—like walking on a leash and spending time indoors—but her courage grows every day. She’s curious, sweet, and has a heart that’s learning to trust completely. With a little patience and a lot of love, this beautiful girl will reward her forever family with endless devotion and loyalty. If you’re looking to make a difference in a dog’s life and watch a soul truly bloom, Miss Kitty is waiting for you.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Miss Kitty today!   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
She is a sweet, silly, quirky girl who is very athletic but also snuggly and fun. She makes the cutest "awoo" sounds when excited. She is extremely clever and loves to learn. 1 year 9 month old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix 34 lbs Spayed She lives with another young female dog and they play together very well. She will do best with another young dog as a companion in her new home. She has some training. Knows sit, down, leave it, stay, and come and likes her crate. Loves treats, food motivated, and is house and crate trained. She can jump our 4 ft fence easily and likes to chase bunnies and squirrels. We cannot have a higher fence so she has to be leash walked for all potty outings which we feel is not fair to her. She needs space to run and play and chase and be her best self! For this reason, she will require a six foot fenced yard. She needs a home with no children or children over 13 years old. She is a lovely dog and we want her to live her best life!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ben is a happy, fun-loving 1-year-old who brings all the enthusiasm you’d expect from a young pup. With his Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd mix, he’s the perfect blend of brains, loyalty, and playful personality. This guy loves his toys and is always up for a game, a romp in the yard, or a new adventure. Like many young dogs, Ben can get a little over-excited when he’s happy and may jump, so he would do best in a home without small children. A securely fenced yard is a must so he has plenty of space to run, play, and burn off that youthful energy. Once he’s had his fun, Ben’s softer side shines through. He’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys cuddling up with his people, soaking in all the love and attention he can get. With continued training, consistency, and structure, Ben is sure to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. If you’re ready for an energetic, affectionate young dog who will keep you smiling and active, Ben could be the perfect addition to your family.  Medical Notes: Neutered Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Maintained on monthly flea/tick preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
