Story
We are trying to help this sweet girl called Bonnie to find a home since her elderly parents are in failing health and cannot care for their five dogs.  Bonnie is a mix of some interesting breeds.  We think she has some Aussie and maybe Boxer in her.  The Australian Shepherd trait is what makes her a protector of the yard and home when strangers approach.  She is the home security dog officer!   This girl is losing her home because her elderly parents have fallen into bad health.  Bonnie is 4 years old and weighs a little over 40 pounds.  She adores people and is good with the other dogs that she spends time with in the fenced yard.  She is housebroken, affectionate and a devoted girl to her family.  If you would like to give Bonnie her next forever home, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue who is helping her at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 25, 2024, 6:52 pm

Story
Haven is a beautiful girl born on February 4th to a beautiful red and white Australian Sheperd momma named Maggie.  This sweet stray momma gave birth bravely to 13 puppies and 11 survived.  A monstrous job of raising them lay ahead and she rose to the occasion.  This girl puppy named Haven is one of the 11 who are looking for a home that will enjoy her beauty and intelligence for a long time.  Haven has an unknown daddy that perhaps she takes after.  This girl is with Momma Kim who says that she is the more laidback and low key puppy of the four that she is fostering from the original litter of 11.  When it is playtime little Haven perks up and becomes a very active little girl who is ready to romp and wrestle to her heart’s content. Right in the middle of mischief, Haven is not a vocal girl who also possesses the desire to cuddle and snuggle with her human foster mom. This little girl is around other dogs, cats and of course people.  She is comfortable with her surroundings and just a sweetheart. We expect this girl to be a 45 pound adult that will bring you love straight from her heart and soul every day.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 25, 2024, 6:52 pm

Story
Hello, you lucky people! I know, when you hear the name Bianca you think of Beautiful and of course I am all of that and more.  But even though I am small in stature, but big in personality, I am an adorable force of nature. How big will I be when I grow up? Who knows, but my foster mom says I have enough cuteness and cuddles for any size.I am crate-trained, which is not the same as housebroken, but it means I don’t mind being in my crate and usually keep it clean and dry. I might holler and howl out of protest when you first put me in my crate, but my foster mommy says don’t be fooled. I’ll settle down with a blanket and toy after a little while. When I first go to a new home I will just have to get used to being without my brothers and sisters and get used to my new family. I sleep in my crate at night just fine but with company. I love mealtime and I also love to chase toys. If you get me settled on a blanket next to you, I love a good snuggle time filled with love.I’m ready. Come and get me! Love, Bianca.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.April 25, 2024, 6:52 pm

Story
Hello World.  My name is Cypress and I am a pretty little Aussie mix puppy who was born on Feb. 4th, 2024 to a litter of 13 puppies.  My momma is a red and white Aussie and she was so brave and raised us all to be healthy and sweet natured. My foster mom says I am a spirited girl puppy that has boundless energy and a love for playtime.  I have learned the fine art of stealing hearts too!  If you watch me for long you will  be rolling in the grass with me laughing and having a gold old time. They say I have the perfect blend of charm and mischief.  I am totally committed to making you  have fun being around me.   I love other dogs and my foster mom has some big ones that I love to hang out with and pretend I am all grown up.  They teach me things too!  I get my intelligence from my Aussie breed influence from my momma.  She has a nice sweet nature that she passed along to all of her pups.   I even figured out the doggie door from the first day that I went to live with my second foster mom when I was 8 weeks old.  She was super impressed because I was so young and really small when I learned.  My future is bright and lying ahead of me with a special wish that I will find a special family that is active and really dedicated to teaching me how to be the best trained dog around. I want to learn, love and lasso your heart!  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are ready!  I will be ready the first of May.      ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
In Murfreesboro, TN - Huck is a high-energy, medium velro young chap who is ready to find his forever home (and he’s hoping it comes with a canine buddy). He’s a lean 50 lbs, Australian Shepherd ,about 1-2 years, housebroken, neutered and up to date on shots. Huck is great at follow the leader, he looks for direction from his foster brother for everything… from play style to mischief and everything in between. He would do best in a home with another active dog who enjoys playing. Favorite games include chase, wrestle, keep away and tug. His herding instinct is prevalent during playtime, he will nip and herd to get his canine friends to engage. His face lights up with joy when they take the bait and play chase! Huck has yet to learn the meaning of a straight line on walks, finding nearly everything fascinating. He still has work to do on loose-leash walking; a no-pull harness has helped significantly. He’s very interested in fast-moving objects, 10/10 would chase cars if he was able, so a confident leader is needed. Huck is primarily interested in canine friends, but is quick to cuddle when invited and would sleep in as long as possible! Huck is not a fan of being crated, though he can be enticed with a treat. He doesn’t do well if left alone (as demonstrated by his expert demolition of a soft crate), but has proven he can be left home un-crated if supervised by his foster brother. He’s super friendly with strangers however has not been tested with cats or kids. Mealtime is a highlight of the day; dogs are fed separately at his foster home and he does well, but has shown he’s willing to protect any high-value food he may stumble across (like chicken). He’s eager to learn for treats! Huck will be a fabulous addition to an active household with a canine buddy or pack he can join! His oversized paws will take up an oversized spot in your heart ? ?? Currently fostered in Murfreesboro, TN (if adopted in the area his foster brother would LOVE to have play dates). Here is the link to the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/available-pets There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Roscoe (Nashville TN) is ready for his FurEver Home! 3 years old & 90 lbs (Gentle Giant) Up to date on ALL vaccinations Microchipped HW neg/on preventative Crate Trained & Potty Trained Good with other dogs (submissive), cats, ducks, chickens and bigger livestock. Incredibly shy at first but he is a protector (non aggressive shepherd) and hard lover. Don't let Roscoe's size deter you, he is very laid back, low energy and loves walks. He is new to leash walking, so he does need to have his harness, so he doesn't pull you down. He is a strong boy, but listens well when called to ease, during a walk. He gets excited when going outside or seeing a squirrel but doesn't chase. He will take a treat from you, when you ask him to sit and is so gentle while doing so. Roscoe loves tummy scratches, laying on the porch during morning coffee and being brushed. His favorite is ear scratches! His FurEver family would be so blessed to have this big snuggle bug! If interested in Roscoe, please fill out an application and he would love to meet you/your family! Ube is an amazing, loving doggo. We are moving across the country and are not able to take her with us. We believe a good home for Ube would either include a big backyard where she can run and play, or with someone who is active and can take her on regular long walks or runs. We also think Ube could be great at agility or similar. Uber is fully house trained, is comfortable in her crate and out of it. She loves to play fetch and ask for pets. She can can be shy with new men. Please reach out with any question! We are very hopeful to find Ube a wonderful new home.

Story
We adopted Finn about four years ago. He was found on the side of a country road with severe wounds from being shot with a pellet gun (P 4). He is a very snuggly/playful dog and great with people. We are looking to rehome him for the following reasons. We now have two kids and no longer can work from home like we did when we adopted him. He needs a good amount of attention and I think because of that lack he is starting to bark more and is becoming aggressive on walks (we do walk him with another dog and they can riel each other up). He has also been vomiting randomly for the past few years (a few times a week), this may be caused by the bullet near his throat. We have explored getting the bullet removed but were advised it would cost about $5K and the procedure could kill him or not solve the vomit issue. We have small children now and the vomit issue is not conducive to providing them with a sanitary place space in our relatively small home.

These pups are in Franklin, Tennessee too!

Story
Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 25, 2024, 6:52 pm
