This beautiful white Great Pyr/Australian Shepherd mix girl is a 6 month old cloud of love and her name is Tilly. We could not offer a nicer and sweeter 35 lbs girl that could fulfill the wish list of a family looking for a congenial, easy going and happy family dog to adopt. She is the last born in her litter that was from a stray momma who came on to a property and had her puppies..... 8 of them. The family caring for this litter of puppies has done all the right things for them. They are dewormed and receiving parvo distemper shots and will be spayed on 9/10. Two girls and one boy named Benny are all looking for their forever homes. Sweet Tilly is just the nicest and easiest dog you could ever meet. She loves all other animals that she meets and in her foster home she is around cats, donkeys, horses, a pot belly pig, other dogs of all sizes and ages and also the sweet young grandchildren of her foster mom. This girl never has anything but love with every step she takes in life. A smile, a contagious joy and a vibrant zest for life that propels her through the day with energy that is easy to be around and makes a smile come to your face. This girl is special and will only grow to be a 50-55 pound adult girl. When we tell the story of Mika, we have chosen to leave out the harsh details of the neglect and dirty conditions that she lived in. Suffice to say it was disturbing to view. She was rescued alongside her sister, Millicent who endured the same harsh living conditions. Despite a history of being mistreated and neglected, Mika the 18 month old, 52 pound Aussie/Hound mix girl has a heart of gold and has shown zero resentment. She has spent the last few weeks learning what it means to be safe, clean, and cared for, and she has taken to her new life with total grace. Personality: Calm, affectionate, and steady. Mika is the definition of a sweetheart. She has a gentle, low-key temperament that makes her a perfect fit for a family looking for a more relaxed companion. She is fantastic with kids and simply wants to be where the love is. Ollie does have limited vision on his left side because his left eye is genetically smaller than his right, but it does not slow him down one bit. His veterinarian says he is comfortable, doing great, and does not need any surgery. Ollie has learned to navigate the world just fine and is full of confidence, curiosity, and puppy joy. Meet Bailey Girl— All She Needs Is a Chance â¤ï¸ Bailey Girl is a beautiful 27-pound female 18 month old Mini Aussie mix with a story that will break your heart—but the little dog she is becoming will put it right back together. Bailey Girl was abandoned during extremely hot weather when someone placed her inside a school playground with no way to get out. Tragically, she wasn’t discovered until the following Monday when the school reopened. Someone had reportedly witnessed her being left there but did not notify anyone. We may never understand why she was abandoned that way, but we do know one thing: her story does not have to end where it began. Today, Bailey Girl is safe in a loving foster home, and she is doing beautifully. â¤ï¸ It took her only a couple of days to begin trusting her foster, and now she has become her little shadow. She does well with other dogs and cats, walks on a leash, and can even be left loose in the home with the other dogs while her foster is at work. Bailey Girl is still working on becoming completely house trained, but she is extremely intelligent and continues to learn. She enjoys having a yard where she can run and as her confidence and trust have grown, she happily comes back to her foster when called. Because Bailey Girl can be somewhat fearful of children, we believe she would be happiest in a home without children, where she can feel secure and develop a strong bond with her person or family. Bailey may need a little more patience in the beginning than some dogs. You have to earn her trust—but once you do, something very special happens. She begins to understand that she is safe. Meet Lexi, a 4½-year-old Heeler/Cattle Dog mix who may be a little shy for the first five minutes… and then suddenly you’re wondering why you stopped petting her. Lexi loves people, warms up quickly and is very affectionate. In fact, if you pause the pets before she has officially dismissed you, she will politely request that you resume your duties. She knows sit and is wonderfully calm and gentle on a leash. Lexi does like other dogs and lived happily with a dog similar to her size, but small dogs and small critters are a different story. Her herding-dog résumé apparently includes “Neighborhood Squirrel Enforcement,” and she may chase squirrels, cats and other small animals. Because she also doesn’t do well with dogs smaller than herself, apartment living—where surprise encounters with tiny canine neighbors are hard to avoid—isn’t a good fit. Lexi is looking for a house, preferably with a fenced backyard, where she can relax, enjoy her people and have some room of her own. This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character. A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive. He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity. Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating. Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him. He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown. His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring. Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself. Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes. At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or your local neighborhood. He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS! To our Boy George they are just another friend in life! We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard. He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber. But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day. Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this. Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come. Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose. She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please. Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management. She also does well with some dogs but can be selective about her canine companions. Like many intelligent, confident working breeds, she appreciates respectful introductions and clear leadership. Richie ' Sambora ' is what this Border Collie mix puppy should be called because he is so handsome and extra charming. Born around April 1st, 5 months ago from 9/1, his mom was a 40 pound girl with 4 puppies who were all left outside in the harsh heat while their owner went on vacation. No food, no water was left behind. Soon Animal Control was there to take the sweet dogs in to the shelter for relief and care. Richie is 25 pounds and a very special boy. He has very special eye coloring that gives him two different colored eyes that make him absolutely unforgettable. This boy Richie has already figured out that those beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts. Look out ladies, this handsome boy knows exactly how to turn on the charm and if he played guitar like Sambora does with Bon Jovi, he would be dangerous. But underneath those gorgeous eyes is a sweet puppy who is learning that humans can be trusted and that life can be pretty wonderful. He is almost housebroken, crate training is successful and he is good with all other dogs and cats as well. We expect him to the same weight range as his momma, 40 pounds. He is happy and curious and playful. Working on his leash skills and he has had a great deal of guidance from his foster persons that have helped him the past few weeks.
