This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner.   Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart     Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come.     Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose.   She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please.     Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management.   Richie ' Sambora ' is what this Border Collie mix puppy should be called because he is so handsome and extra charming.  Born around April 1st, 5 months ago from 9/1, his mom was a 40 pound girl with 4 puppies who were all left outside in the harsh heat while their owner went on vacation.  No food, no water was left behind.  Soon Animal Control was there to take the sweet dogs in to the shelter for relief and care. Richie is 25 pounds and a very special boy.  He has very special eye coloring that gives him two different colored eyes that make him absolutely unforgettable.  This boy Richie has already figured out that those beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts.  Look out ladies, this handsome boy knows exactly how to turn on the charm and if he played guitar like Sambora does with Bon Jovi, he would be dangerous. This is George. He is a loving, cuddly and sweet 5 year old, 50lb collie mix. I adopted him from the shelter 4 years ago. He has been a great companion and joy! Unfortunately due to an unknown traumatic past before the shelter, he has some quirks that make it difficult to live in a home with men and children. Due to this I am looking to find George a new loving home that will give him the life he deserves.  He is great with routine! He is very nervous and hesitant with new situations and people. However, he quickly adapts once he knows he is safe. When he is comfortable he is the most loving and sweet boy you could ever ask for. He is a quick learner and picks up on commands after a couple practices.  He loves a comfy bed with lots of blankets, butt scratches, tummy rubs, new squeaky toys, peanut butter and Nylabones! He loves to play in the yard and chase after tennis balls, squirrels and birds.  He would love a home with a steady routine and not too many new people around.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pippa Pippa is a fun-loving, loyal and energetic girl who’s always ready for her next adventure! She’s incredibly smart and athletic. She does well on a leash, loves car rides and already knows basic commands like sit, stay, shake, down and come. She would thrive with an active family that enjoys keeping both her mind and body busy.   Pipa’s most favorite thing is being with her people. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, making sure she never misses out on the action. She also loves her toys and spending time exploring outside.   She has been well-socialized and does great with all dogs. She loves all people as well. She can be a bit mouthy when excited, so she should be watched around small children. Her fosters have been working with her, and she is improving in this area every day!   She’s already sleeping through the night in her crate like a champ! House training is still a work in progress. However, she can be crated during the day and at night with no accidents. While she does not yet alert you when she needs to go out, she will go days at a time with no accidents if taken out frequently. Story
   Handsome and inquisitive Joshua is the epitome of a young pure bred Australian Shepherd with all the bells and whistles of the breed. If you like the curiosity, attention seeking  and energy of an Aussie, you are going to love Joshua. This 1 year old is 38 compact pounds and he is immediately ready to love you and be your best sidekick in life. He is very personable and friendly, and will run circles around everyone in the room.  Immediately you know this is one smart boy. In less than 2 hours from arriving at his foster home, he learned how to use the doggie door to get in and out, and has had zero accidents in the house. And talking about LOVE?  He loves toys. At least twice a day, he empties out the dog toy box, and wants to play with each and every one of them. Joshua really enjoys being around people, and at any given moment, may pop onto your lap without you even knowing he’s nearby. On the occasions that he is still, he does like to be in the lap of, or nearby, his foster people. If you stop petting him, he’ll take your hand in his mouth to remind you what your main mission is at the moment.....to pet him. He loves to be talked to, and in true to Aussie form, will follow you wherever you go. Joshua also enjoys the company of other dogs and will always be the guy that tries to get playtime started. And did we mention how handsome he is? A gorgeous Chestnut Red and lighter red and white, this boy has all the charm and looks that will make the girls swoon! He’s been neutered, chipped, and fully vetted. Other important things to know about Joshua are:  He is not a big barker. He usually just barks after his foster dog brother and sister start it up, and he will chime in. He currently spends the night in a crate. After some initial whimpering, stays quiet through the night. We’ve tried to give him free run of the house at night, but it usually ends up with him, jumping on someone’s face in the middle of the night, reminding us he wants some attention and loving pats on the head.  Joshua is a really joyful little guy, and thrives on attention and action. It’s important that his adopters understand the personalities and needs of Australian Shepherds. They are very active and curious, and require ways to release all the energy they have. Meet Ghost Girl❤️ Ghost Girl is a sweet, silly, incredibly affectionate girl whose favorite place in the world is right next to her person. This Aussie/Cattle Mix girl is 2.5 years and weighs 30-35 pounds and she is the definition of a Velcro dog—she loves cuddling, being held, getting pets, and following her favorite humans from room to room. If you’re looking for a dog who truly wants to be your best friend, Ghost is your girl! She has the cutest goofy side, too. Ghost loves running around the yard, playing chase, getting the zoomies, and doing her little spins when she gets excited. She’s also VERY treat motivated and will happily work for snacks! Ghost is house trained and crate trained and would absolutely love a home with a secure fenced yard. She’s much more of a backyard-zoomies girl than a long-walk girl—the busy outside world can sometimes be a little overwhelming for her, and she’s happiest running and playing somewhere familiar and secure. Ghost would love to be your one-and-only pet and soak up all the attention for herself. Other dogs can make her uncomfortable, so a home where she doesn’t have to share her space with other animals will allow her to relax and be her happiest self. She has lived with a toddler and newborn and absolutely adores her little humans. She has been incredibly loving and gentle with them. When meeting children she doesn’t know, she appreciates a calmer introduction rather than lots of excitement all at once, so a quieter home or one with older children would be a great fit.         This beautiful white Great Pyr/Australian Shepherd mix girl is a 6 month old cloud of love and her name is Tilly. We could not offer a nicer and sweeter 35 lbs girl that could fulfill the wish list of a family looking for a congenial, easy going and happy family dog to adopt. She is the last born in her litter that was from a stray momma who came on to a property and had her puppies..... 8 of them. The family caring for this litter of puppies has done all the right things for them.   They are dewormed and receiving parvo distemper shots and will be spayed on 9/10.  Two girls and one boy named Benny are all looking for their forever homes.  Sweet Tilly is just the nicest and easiest dog you could ever meet.   She loves all other animals that she meets and in her foster home she is around cats, donkeys, horses, a pot belly pig, other dogs of all sizes and ages and also the sweet young grandchildren of her foster mom.   This girl never has anything but love with every step she takes in life.  A smile, a contagious joy and a vibrant zest for life that propels her through the day with energy that is easy to be around and makes a smile come to your face.
