Story

Porter is looking for an active person to be his new person. He loves snow, water, the mountains. He loves to run and play in all the outdoor places, but he is also relaxed at home after a morning walk & doesn't need a crazy amount of exercise to be a good boy in the house. He gets along with many dogs, but must be introduced on a leashed walk to be sure they will get a long. I have had porter since he was 9 mo. He came to me with insecurity based aggression. I was single when I got him & when my life dramatically changed to include children we were still learning his behavior & took professional training with him to help him be his best. His behavior has improved greatly, but he has proven to be unpredictable around children, though he has not hurt a child, he should not be in a home with them or in a home who has children over regularly. He requires an owner who will give him direction & be consistent with training & commands. We love him so much & want to find a good home for him.

Story

Shadow is a beautiful and athletic 1 year old English Shepherd. He is affectionate, potty trained, loves being around the kids, and up to date with shots. He does bark a lot at strangers and has anxiety with outside family members. He does great with our old dog and cat but not good with any other animals outside the home. I do not recommend him for a family that already has a dog for this reason, I think he would possibly be fine with a female dog though. unfortunately, he herds the children with nips and I feel like I run out of resources to help him and cannot risk anymore kids getting nips (he’s never made anyone bleed, it’s like a herding nip). I believe he is trainable. He does not herd my kids anymore but he does herd their friends. I wish I could keep him and trust him but it makes me very nervous with neighbors coming over while he is in the backyard. I pray someone will love him and work with him! He is a great companion.

Story

Fantastic puppy. Very willing to learn. Listens well. Very loving and affectionate. Never seen any anger. Comes with food, toys, cage and a brand new kennel if wanted ($550-). My H.O.A. doesn't allow his kennel and anything less seams inhumane. He is very mellow. Rides great in my truck. Walks easily at the park. Didn't seem to be bothered by fireworks last New Years. Really doesn't bark. He will talk when he gets excited.
