Meet Stella!
Stella is a 6-year-old, 56-lb Golden Retriever/Irish Setter mix who is a beautiful, gentle soul with a sweet and affectionate personality.
Her superpowers include being incredibly gentle, friendly, and well-mannered. Stella loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She enjoys playing with her fellow foster dog, including a good game of tug, and is always very gentle and respectful while playing. She also enjoys playing with toys and spending quality time with her humans.
Stella has a low-to-medium energy level. She enjoys getting outside for her walks and having some playtime, but she’s equally happy settling down, lying on her belly, and enjoying some pets and rubs with her people. She’s also a very disciplined girl who listens well and follows commands. Stella is crate trained and fully potty trained — she knows to wait until she’s outside and uses gardens, parks, or other outdoor spaces to do her business.
Some of Stella’s favorite things are going for walks, playing with her toys, playing tug with her doggy friends, getting lots of pets and belly rubs, and relaxing with her humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate golden girl who can join you for a walk or some playtime and then happily settle in for cuddles and relaxation, Stella might be your perfect match.
Stella is currently being fostered in Jersey City, NJ and her adoption fee is $500.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
