Story
Meet Chandra! Chandra is a 4-year-old, 40-lb Goldendoodle and an absolute snuggly sweetheart. She appears to have had some training, has shown no destructive behaviors, and is settling nicely into suburban family life. She’s polite around food (curious but not begging at the table), though she will remind you when it’s HER mealtime. Chandra plays well with the family and truly shines when it comes to affection - she loves to hug, popping up on her back legs and leaning in for a full embrace. Potty-training wise, she’s about 98% there: she goes outside, holds it overnight, but has used pee pads a few times, suggesting she was previously trained to them and is doing her best while learning a new routine. She’s also handled being left alone for short periods (about 20 minutes so far) without issue. With her foster family's 1-year-old dog, Chandra enjoys playing chase and comfortably shares space - after an initial adjustment period, they now lounge on the same couch. As she settles in, she’s bonded closely with her person and tends to stick nearby (Velcro-dog energy). She can occasionally be a bit competitive for attention and may “grumble” or position herself in between to be closest to her person, but it’s mostly talk and intimidation rather than physical. Overall, Chandra is affectionate, gentle, well-mannered, and eager to be close to her people - a cuddly, loving companion with a great foundation and a big heart. Chandra is being fostered in West Orange, NJ. Her adoption fee is $475. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Huan is a great young dog. She is sweet, very friendly to people, and loves to stay with someone. She is very quiet, too. I got her from a friend when she was 3 months old. Time passed fast. Even she is still young, but she grows big now. I feel really sorry, but I don’t have much time to take care of her, play with her and stay with her. I really want to find someone who loves dog, and have time to take care of her.

Story
Akc registered pure bread dog Rosie is a beautiful, friendly dog with a calm and affectionate personality. She loves being around people, enjoys outdoor walks, and is happiest when he’s part of a family environment. Rosie is healthy and up to date on basic care. She is house-trained and used to a home environment. She would do best in a stable home where she can receive consistent care and affection. Rehoming Lucky is a very difficult decision, made only to ensure he has the best possible future. We are looking for a responsible, loving home where he will be treated as a family member. If you are interested, please reach out with information about your home, experience with dogs, and lifestyle. We want to make sure Lucky finds the right forever home.

Story
AKC registered pure bread dog Lucky and Rosie are a bonded pair who truly love each other and feel most comfortable together. They were born on February 11, 2024 and have lived in a home with a large backyard, spending most of their time outside where they enjoyed plenty of space to run and play. They are purebred, AKC-registered, up to date on all vaccinations, and have always been fed high-quality food, as we own a restaurant and take their nutrition very seriously. They are loyal, alert, and affectionate with people they trust. They have natural guarding instincts and may bark at night when hearing pedestrians, which is normal alert behavior. They would do best in a home where they can enjoy outdoor space but also spend time indoors, especially at night, with a caring and understanding owner. Rehoming them is a difficult decision made with their best future in mind.

Story
Right now located at Brooklyn New York, he a golden retriever that almost 2 years old. Favorite thing to do is to take a walk and he’s a sniffer . He’s a timid dog that scared of loud noice( firework, loud car sounds). He not friendly to dog or cat, so trying to find a owner that doesn’t have any pet. He loves to play with people. The main reason I’m finding a new owner is due to work problem, don’t have as much time as before to spend with him
