Well, hello there. I'm Bark Twain. Yes, the name is a literary masterpiece. And unlike my namesake, I prefer chewing toys over writing novels. I'm a 6-month-old pup weighing in at about 40 pounds, and I've got plenty more growing (and goofiness) left to do. If you're looking for a tiny purse pup, I accidentally wandered into the wrong story. But if you've been searching for a loyal adventure buddy with a big personality, you've reached the right chapter. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who thinks every day should include something fun. Hiking? Count me in. Playing fetch? Absolutely. Splashing in the water? Now you're speaking my language! I love other dogs, adore people, and I'm always convinced the next person I meet is going to be my new best friend. Like any good puppy, I'm still polishing up my manners. I'm smart, eager to learn, and food is a pretty convincing teacher. With a little guidance and consistency, I'll grow into an incredible companion who's as loyal as he is lovable. My perfect family will appreciate my playful spirit, my growing size, and my enthusiasm for life. Hi, I'm Stella. ❤️ If you had met me a few months ago, you might have only seen a scared, skinny mama trying her very best. I arrived at the shelter with my eight puppies, and we were all on the euthanasia list. I was so emaciated that every meal I got went straight to my babies. Thankfully, a rescue saw something worth saving in all of us... and because of that, I'm here to tell my own story. These days, life is looking a whole lot brighter. I'm a 67-pound sweetheart with a playful side that's finally getting its chance to shine. I absolutely love toys—seriously, if it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried around, I'm a fan. And if there's water nearby? You'll probably find me splashing around with the biggest smile on my face. I'm a little shy when meeting new people, so I may not run into your arms on day one. But please don't mistake my caution for a lack of love. Once I know I'm safe, I become an incredibly affectionate, loyal girl who just wants to be close to her people. One thing that really helps me feel confident is having another dog around. I'd thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion who can show me that the world isn't such a scary place. Before long, you'll see my playful, silly personality come bursting out. I've already survived the hardest chapter of my life. Now I'm ready for the best one—a forever family who will love me, be patient with me, and remind me every day that I'll never have to wonder where my next meal or safe place to sleep will come from.
