Papaya is a favorite here at the ranch. She loves to walk and smell everything. She loves to play with her best friend Tofu. She gets along with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction. She is full of energy so she is ideal for taking on an adventure. She would be best in a home with older kids. She is very loving and always looking for rubs and treats. She is one of those dogs that just wants to have fun. She follows commands and is always willing to learn. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She can be transported anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1499373##

Ace-Poodle/Irish Setter male, ~ 15 mo.(Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Ace was taken in by a Trainer, looking to help dogs into a Service Dog program through Prisons. Ace fit the criteria and was in danger in the high kill shelter he was left at by a prior owner. He has the typical energy and ability of his genetics. Also said to be very quick to learn/intelligent. Ace has a great personality and lives with his Inmate Trainer and many other dogs in the program, doing great with everyone. He has Obedience/Husbandry skills/ Grooming skills & rides well in a car. He is crate and house trained. Ace is about 75lbs (Large size dog). He has not lived with cats, no opportunity in the Prison, but will be tested when he comes into foster care. Children over 15 yr. Are recommended, if children are in the home. Ace's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.

Gator-Poodle/Doodle male, ~ 4 yr. (Jan. 2026) DOB 7/13/2022 Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Gator came to rescue when there was a family/human health issue in his original home. One family member is struggling with dementia and the other adult is so busy taking care of the ill person that there is no time for Gator. He's a young dog with lot of love and energy to share, very normal for his age and breed. He's a smart boy, used to living in a home setting with another dog. Gator will be a great walking or hiking partner. He'll enjoy an active lifestyle and be a wonderful companion. His adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
