She’s loyal, affectionate with her person, and full of personality. Lucy thrives in a calm, one-on-one environment where she can enjoy her space, soak up attention, and spend time outdoors. She loves to run and play, especially in a fenced yard or quiet natural setting. While Lucy isn’t comfortable around children or other pets and can be snippy when overwhelmed, she blossoms when she’s given the time and space to feel safe and understood.

Vixie is a 5 month old female Boxer mix, and is an absolutely adorable little cutie pie who is sure to keep you smiling! She has such an engaging personality - playful, curious, and also an expert snuggler. Vixie is an active little girl, who enjoys romping around the playpen to chase toys. She is also a complete social butterfly, and loves to make new friends on each outing - whether that’s with other dogs, a local feral cat, or even a fluttering leaf - everything is interesting to her. And her joy in life is truly contagious! So go meet this sweet girl soon, and let Vixie work her charms on you. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.November 24, 2025, 3:16 pm
