Story
Chowder is an Old English Bulldog adopted from a local bulldog rescue. He is approximately 5 years old and is possible the has some boxer in him. If you want a loyal, cuddle buddy who will be your bestest friend ever then Chowder is your boy! He loves treats and toys and most of all hugs. He is medium energ and can be quite bouncy, loves to run and fetch and play but then loves a good nap!! He is housebroken and crate trained. But if allowed, he loves to sleep with his peeps. He loves his people so much that he does suffer from some separation anxiety if left alone for long periods. This is extremely difficult for me. Life changes for me and my family have necessitated the rehoming. Best fit would be a home where people work from home or are not gone for the majority of the day. He is awesome with other dogs and kids but cats are unknown.

Meet Curry, fka Oscar! His name was selected because he is "spicy but in a good way"!  This little guy has the cutest round head, and short legs, with turned out ankles. He is likely a bulldog / staffy cross. He is under 50 pounds, but still needs to put on around 5. He has already gained 12 pounds, so he was in really poor condition when he arrived at the shelter, after being picked up as a stray. His hair has filled back in, his head doesn't looked skeletal anymore, and his tail has clearly recovered too, because it's a non-stop wag!  November 1, 2024, 6:01 pm

Hi, I`m Demi!I`m currently living in a foster home and my parents say I bring a lot of joy into their home. I`ve quickly proved myself to be a delightful addition to their family!I love going out in the backyard and pressing my zoomie button until I`m all worn out. Then, I like to zoom straight over to my foster parents, roll over on my back, and get belly rubs. If I think I`m not getting enough attention, I`ll whine like a Wookie from Star Wars.My favorite things are staring lovingly into your eyes, snuggling as close to you as possible, and laying on the bed. There`s nothing I enjoy more than curling up with people for some quality bonding time. I`m kind of an expert at turning even the gloomiest day into a warm and fuzzy one with my affectionate cuddles. During the day, I love staring out the window to see what`s going on outside and soak up the sun. I love to play with toys and will never say no to a treat! Treats hold a special place in my heart. I will also never forget to remind you when it`s time for dinner!I`m fully potty trained and crate trained, and I`ve been working SO hard on my manners. I`m dedication to being a well-behaved member of the household and determined to make you proud! Especially when I walk on my leash... I`m just trying to remember how strong I am when we go for walks together! I`m actively taking classes with Barking Hound Village and I`m learning a lot! I`d love to continue learning after I`ve found my forever home. Make sure you have a lot of treats - I`m very food motivated.Just so you know, though, I do need to be the only pet in a home with no children under the age of 12. That way, I don`t have to share the love with anyone else!I can`t wait to meet you soon!Love,DemiP.S. He's a compact and muscular 52 pounds, and thinks his perfect place in life would be to ride shotgun in a . . . .you guessed it . . . Mack truck!
