To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Kobe a 6-year old, Olde English Bulldog - Your Loyal, Adventure-Loving Shadow! Kobe is a big-hearted boy with a soulful gaze and an even bigger desire to be near his people. At six years old, he's in the sweet spot between playful and chill-a loyal companion who's just as happy to adventure with you as he is to curl up at your side for a cuddle session. Kobe is incredibly smart and a quick learner who thrives on routine and connection. He's already mastered sit and shake and is working on stay and wait. He's food-motivated (and very food-excited!), which makes training fun-though he'll need continued work on recall and leash manners. While Kobe is potty trained and doing great in an apartment, he's still figuring out the doggie door. He'll sit by the door to let you know he needs out and hasn't marked indoors. He has had a couple of accidents during a brief illness, but otherwise has solid house manners and hasn't shown any destructive behavior when left alone. That said, Kobe loves being with his humans and would prefer to accompany you everywhere. He's not a fan of being left behind and will cry for a few minutes when you go, but he settles quickly. He's happiest near you, whether it's co-sleeping in bed or lounging on the couch. If you're not paying attention, he might gently paw at you-or let out a soft whine-to ask for pets and reassurance. Kobe enjoys long walks (up to an hour!) and may be a great hiking buddy with more conditioning. He's unbothered by loud or sudden noises, but he is cautious around things like footstools, vacuums, or other "suspicious" household items. He doesn't like being picked up or confined and is not a fan of crates or grooming activities like nail trims, ear cleaning, or baths. (We're working on that, with patience and vet guidance!) Kobe is currently underweight and transitioning to a duck-based diet to help manage his allergies. He's responding well to Apoquel and ear drops, and we're still learning what works best for him long-term. This sweet, affectionate guy bonds deeply with his people and will likely choose a "favorite" human in his forever family. He'll do best with someone patient, gentle, and willing to continue helping him build confidence and structure. In return, Kobe offers unconditional love, soulful snuggles, and the joy of watching a once-wary pup learn to trust again. Kobe's ideal home: · A family or person around often-he prefers not to be alone · No need for a crate-he's proven to be trustworthy in the home · A calm, patient household that can help him continue building confidence · Someone willing to keep working on training, diet, and gentle grooming care If you're looking for a smart, soulful boy to be your loyal sidekick, Kobe just might be your perfect match. I will be ready for adoption once I take care of a few things at the vet. Be on the lookout for my updates.

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Artie (aka Artemis, aka Artie Choke) - your goofy, loyal bestie! At 7 years young, Artie is an Olde English Bulldog with a heart of gold and a whole lot of personality. This 78-pound cuddlebug is equal parts lap dog and treat-motivated genius. She knows a plethora of commands (yes, she's that impressive), including sit, lay down, stay, spin, nips, hit, and even the adorable "snoot." Just flash a treat, and she's ready to perform! Artie is a social butterfly who adores everyone-grown-ups, kids, other dogs, cats-you name it. She's the kind of dog who's always down for a car ride, a cozy nap, or a goofy trick session. She'd do best in a home where her people are around most of the time-she loves to be with her humans and thrives on connection. That said, she's kennel-trained and happy to chill when needed. Ready to add a sweet, smart, snuggly bulldog to your life? Artie's ready to steal your heart (and your snacks).

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Wallace – or Wally for short! I’m a 1.5-year-old Olde English Bulldogge weighing in at around 75 lbs—bigger than most people expect! With my size comes strength, so I’ll need a confident and patient family to help guide me. I love going on walks, but I do tend to pull on the leash, so continued training will be important. I can be nervous when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I’m a loving and loyal companion. I’m also very smart—though a little stubborn! Because of this, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can help with my training and confidence-building. I get along well with the dogs in my foster home after slow introductions, and I love to play! Having another dog sibling could be great for me to stay active and engaged. I also do well with my foster cat siblings—I'm very curious about their activities, but I respect their space when they tell me to back off. Chickens, on the other hand, still have me puzzled, so I’ll need more time to figure them out. I’m housebroken and crate-trained, though I’d much rather be with my people than in a crate! I also do well in the car, though I may need a little time to get fully comfortable. Once I trust you, I’m an affectionate cuddle bug who will make sure you know when I need extra love! If you’re looking for a big-hearted, goofy, and adventurous companion, I could be your perfect match.

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Ollie, an 8-year-old male Olde English Bulldog My name’s Ollie, and I’ve been patiently waiting for the right person to see past my tough-guy looks and discover the gentle, loyal companion underneath. At 80 pounds, I’m more “gentle giant” than lapdog—but don’t let my size fool you, I’m really just a lover (not a fighter!). What I’m dreaming of is simple: a calm, peaceful home where I can be the center of your world. A fenced yard would be the cherry on top—I like having space to explore and enjoy the fresh air, but I’m just as happy snoozing by your feet while you work or relax. Bonus points if there's a fireplace I can curl up in front of. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and know how to sit on command. I don’t beg at the table, and I’m treat-motivated (especially if it involves a little puzzle to figure out). I sleep soundly through the night and get up when you do, and during the day, I’m happy to nap in my bed while you work remotely. I’ll join you for potty breaks, and I always handle my business like a gentleman. I’m an excellent co-pilot—errands? Road trips? I’m your guy. I hop in the car and settle down right away. I’m not much of a barker either, even when the neighbor dogs start up. And while baths aren’t my favorite, I tolerate them like the mature gentleman I am. One of my favorite things? Holding hands and getting chest or belly rubs. If I want your attention, I’ll gently rest my big ol’ mug on your lap—because that’s how we say “I love you” in my language. I’d do best in a home without kids, cats, or other big dogs—especially those who feel the need to challenge me because of my looks. Honestly, I’d prefer to be your one and only. I’ve got enough love to go around, and I just want to be your loyal shadow, your protector, and best friend. If you’re looking for a big-hearted boy who’s well-behaved, chill, and just wants to love and be loved, I’m ready when you are. Let’s make 2025 the start of our forever story.

Story
She’s Sassy. Silly and Affectionate. Meet Chickpea - a small Fawn TriColored English Bulldog She was a breeder mama dog, protective and bossy. She’s done with boys dogs and dogs in general but is curious and will smell then try to dominate if allowed. She’d like a human to treat her like a princess and let her snore all day and give belly rubs, butt scratches. She is crate trained and follows routines well. She does not clue to when she needs to potty (likely a result of being an outdoor breeder dog). Due to her lack of house training and humping behavior - she would benefit from a breed experienced owner. She does not currently exhibit any allergies or medical needs. Compact size and now a healthy weight of 40 lbs. Vet guessed her to be just 4 years old, her teeth are white and no signs of aging. Heartworm treated and on prevention, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Hoping to be in her new home by the Holidays. Chickpea could be a city girl, live in a condo or apartment - go on leashed walks for exercise, sleep in a crate to stay out of trouble and enjoy patio time with humans OR live in a home with kids and a yard - her size and love of people make her a great family dog. Chickpea does jump up to give hugs since she's short and got little legs - she gives kisses. A Bully breed with a long tail, perky ears - Girlie gets along with everything and everyone! 2 years old, 50 lbs, housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides! Her Story : (YouTube link) https://youtube.com/shorts/72xb9ckhfVQ?si=KcnKts4vUs9-bbjW Girlie was treated with antibiotics for Urinary Track Infection (UTI) and skin infections; then required a Transpalpebral Enucleation of her left eye. Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org --------------------------------------------------- See more Photos, Videos and Updates on Social Media Facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX Instagram @CaffeinatedCanineRescue --------------------------------------------------- Due to illness and starvation at intake, Girlie will guard her food (eating in a kennel keeps the peace) Resource Guarding is a normal behavior for dogs who have been without. Girlie lets her foster take her food, play with her during eating and tolerates sharing attention and waits patiently for her turn to get a treat. She low growls if other animals come near her food during meal times.

Story
He is an American Bully with an easy going attitude. Lazy. Affectionate. Playful. Quiet. He looks like a seal or potbelly pig with his extra large head with cropped off ears and tiny legs. He is healthy (he has easy to manage seasonal allergies) and active, crate trained and house trained. Dog and kid friendly- He is fostered with dogs of every size, he does best with larger females since he can be bossy. Most male dogs try to challenge him due to his size. Cheeseburglar is a LOVER not a fighter, he barks for attention. He spends most of his days napping on a Quilt in the AC. Favorite Color: Orange Favorite Toy: Squeaky Duck Stuffy Favorite Food: Cheese HIS-STORY: This strikingly handsome low rider was caught sleeping curled up in the home office with the cats, 'caught' because he didn’t live there and had pushed open a door during a storm and made himself at home. He was put outside to wait for Animal Control, a ride to the county jail for trespassing. He was bailed out and efforts made for the past few weeks to local owners. Always surprised at who needs a second chance, this American Bully with cut off ears and a dominate personally, needs a confident family to give him rules and exercise. Cheeseburglar needed a few extra meals and medications for a skin infections from fleas (dermatitis) which has resolved. Now neutered, up to date on vaccines and testing heartworm negative.
