Koda has lived with his foster dad for 4 months, thriving with structure and access to a yard. Koda is highly food motivated and very receptive to positive redirection. He is eager to please! All qualities that have helped Koda learn leash manners and new commands in the short time he has been with his foster dad. Koda is microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and loves meeting new people. He is crate trained, potty trained, loves playing find it and respects boundaries when they are enforced. He loves licking frozen yogurt from his lick mat and chewing his kong. He has no accidents in the house while his foster dad is at work. Koda would do wonderful as a solo dog, as he may try to be head of the pack in a multi-dog household. The first 3 months he will need patience as he navigates separation anxiety and growing secure in his fur-ever home.

Its just an instinct of mine! I also dont like other dogs and would like to be the queen of my own castle! I have been known to resource guard, meaning that I am displaying behavior that is intended to convince other dogs to stay away from a particular treasure or `resource.` The resource that I tend to guard is food. This just means that once I have a particular resource I do not want you too close or take it away from me! This behavior can be easily managed and staff has lots of good pamphlets on this!
