To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Kobe a 6-year old, Olde English Bulldog - Your Loyal, Adventure-Loving Shadow! Kobe is a big-hearted boy with a soulful gaze and an even bigger desire to be near his people. At six years old, he's in the sweet spot between playful and chill-a loyal companion who's just as happy to adventure with you as he is to curl up at your side for a cuddle session. Kobe is incredibly smart and a quick learner who thrives on routine and connection. He's already mastered sit and shake and is working on stay and wait. He's food-motivated (and very food-excited!), which makes training fun-though he'll need continued work on recall and leash manners. While Kobe is potty trained and doing great in an apartment, he's still figuring out the doggie door. He'll sit by the door to let you know he needs out and hasn't marked indoors. He has had a couple of accidents during a brief illness, but otherwise has solid house manners and hasn't shown any destructive behavior when left alone. That said, Kobe loves being with his humans and would prefer to accompany you everywhere. He's not a fan of being left behind and will cry for a few minutes when you go, but he settles quickly. He's happiest near you, whether it's co-sleeping in bed or lounging on the couch. If you're not paying attention, he might gently paw at you-or let out a soft whine-to ask for pets and reassurance. Kobe enjoys long walks (up to an hour!) and may be a great hiking buddy with more conditioning. He's unbothered by loud or sudden noises, but he is cautious around things like footstools, vacuums, or other "suspicious" household items. He doesn't like being picked up or confined and is not a fan of crates or grooming activities like nail trims, ear cleaning, or baths. (We're working on that, with patience and vet guidance!) Kobe is currently underweight and transitioning to a duck-based diet to help manage his allergies. He's responding well to Apoquel and ear drops, and we're still learning what works best for him long-term. This sweet, affectionate guy bonds deeply with his people and will likely choose a "favorite" human in his forever family. He'll do best with someone patient, gentle, and willing to continue helping him build confidence and structure. In return, Kobe offers unconditional love, soulful snuggles, and the joy of watching a once-wary pup learn to trust again. Kobe's ideal home: · A family or person around often-he prefers not to be alone · No need for a crate-he's proven to be trustworthy in the home · A calm, patient household that can help him continue building confidence · Someone willing to keep working on training, diet, and gentle grooming care If you're looking for a smart, soulful boy to be your loyal sidekick, Kobe just might be your perfect match. I will be ready for adoption once I take care of a few things at the vet. Be on the lookout for my updates.

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Artie (aka Artemis, aka Artie Choke) - your goofy, loyal bestie! At 7 years young, Artie is an Olde English Bulldog with a heart of gold and a whole lot of personality. This 78-pound cuddlebug is equal parts lap dog and treat-motivated genius. She knows a plethora of commands (yes, she's that impressive), including sit, lay down, stay, spin, nips, hit, and even the adorable "snoot." Just flash a treat, and she's ready to perform! Artie is a social butterfly who adores everyone-grown-ups, kids, other dogs, cats-you name it. She's the kind of dog who's always down for a car ride, a cozy nap, or a goofy trick session. She'd do best in a home where her people are around most of the time-she loves to be with her humans and thrives on connection. That said, she's kennel-trained and happy to chill when needed. Ready to add a sweet, smart, snuggly bulldog to your life? Artie's ready to steal your heart (and your snacks).

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Wallace – or Wally for short! I’m a 1.5-year-old Olde English Bulldogge weighing in at around 75 lbs—bigger than most people expect! With my size comes strength, so I’ll need a confident and patient family to help guide me. I love going on walks, but I do tend to pull on the leash, so continued training will be important. I can be nervous when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I’m a loving and loyal companion. I’m also very smart—though a little stubborn! Because of this, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can help with my training and confidence-building. I get along well with the dogs in my foster home after slow introductions, and I love to play! Having another dog sibling could be great for me to stay active and engaged. I also do well with my foster cat siblings—I'm very curious about their activities, but I respect their space when they tell me to back off. Chickens, on the other hand, still have me puzzled, so I’ll need more time to figure them out. I’m housebroken and crate-trained, though I’d much rather be with my people than in a crate! I also do well in the car, though I may need a little time to get fully comfortable. Once I trust you, I’m an affectionate cuddle bug who will make sure you know when I need extra love! If you’re looking for a big-hearted, goofy, and adventurous companion, I could be your perfect match.

Story
Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Ollie, an 8-year-old male Olde English Bulldog My name’s Ollie, and I’ve been patiently waiting for the right person to see past my tough-guy looks and discover the gentle, loyal companion underneath. At 80 pounds, I’m more “gentle giant” than lapdog—but don’t let my size fool you, I’m really just a lover (not a fighter!). What I’m dreaming of is simple: a calm, peaceful home where I can be the center of your world. A fenced yard would be the cherry on top—I like having space to explore and enjoy the fresh air, but I’m just as happy snoozing by your feet while you work or relax. Bonus points if there's a fireplace I can curl up in front of. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and know how to sit on command. I don’t beg at the table, and I’m treat-motivated (especially if it involves a little puzzle to figure out). I sleep soundly through the night and get up when you do, and during the day, I’m happy to nap in my bed while you work remotely. I’ll join you for potty breaks, and I always handle my business like a gentleman. I’m an excellent co-pilot—errands? Road trips? I’m your guy. I hop in the car and settle down right away. I’m not much of a barker either, even when the neighbor dogs start up. And while baths aren’t my favorite, I tolerate them like the mature gentleman I am. One of my favorite things? Holding hands and getting chest or belly rubs. If I want your attention, I’ll gently rest my big ol’ mug on your lap—because that’s how we say “I love you” in my language. I’d do best in a home without kids, cats, or other big dogs—especially those who feel the need to challenge me because of my looks. Honestly, I’d prefer to be your one and only. I’ve got enough love to go around, and I just want to be your loyal shadow, your protector, and best friend. If you’re looking for a big-hearted boy who’s well-behaved, chill, and just wants to love and be loved, I’m ready when you are. Let’s make 2025 the start of our forever story.

Story
My name is Lola. I came to Church of Pug after landing in the shelter ( the nerve of those people). Im 6 years young , Beautiful, spayed, up-to-date on all my shots and micro chipped ( did I mention that Im Gorgeous?). Im a total Diva and expect to be worshiped another words a total bulldog! I'm OK with dogs out in public and at the dog park (admirers are fine) but I do not want the fans living in a home with me touching my precious belongings, you understand Im sure. I have lots of energy and love to go for walks, play fetch and frisbee, play with all my toys, dress up, snuggling up to watch a good movie or read a book. I would do best with a family who is home most of the time, working from home, retired or able to take me to work with them. if you are in the market for the perfect Bulldog Princess look no further, hurry up and fill out an application today!

Story
Hi, I'm Casper, and I am a bundle of joy and the best playmate! I am an Albino Frenchton, (everyone stares and says how beautiful I am. sure how old I am. they think I am about 1-2 years old, weighing about 25 lbs. I have some mild skin allergies, but they are getting so much better with the medication I am taking! I am happiest in a home with older kids, just because I am full of energy and am not always aware to not jump on my favorite humans! When I'm not perfecting my snuggle game, I love following my humans around, making sure they never feel lonely! I enjoy walks, playing fetch in the yard, and lots of belly rubs! I am crate-training and mostly house-trained, but I would do best in my crate if left alone for more than a few hours. My foster mom thinks I am the most handsomest pup that would be a great addition to your family! While I love my Hoomans, I am used to protecting my family from any dangers, like kitties, other dogs, squirrels, chickens or cows.

Story
Welcome Buddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old American Bulldog and Australian Cattle dog is our best guess on the mix. He has a lower coat and does shed. He is a bit of a puller on leash when he first gets out of his kennel. He is intelligent, affectionate and ready to learn. It doesn’t appear he would be hard to train but may have not had a lot of training in his first home. He would be great for a runner, jogger or hiker. He is sturdy and could keep pace and would love to join his human. He is in my opinion a perfect man dog. He loves men naturally and leans in to show his affection. He hasn’t been reactive on leash when walking around other dogs. He is social and not afraid of new people. He is exuberant so we think he would be best around children that are 8 or older. He would do great with an active family that wants an active companion. He does slow down and likes to chill out as well. He is not perpetual motion. He is getting neutered soon and is already getting his vaccinations and will be chipped. He is hw negative and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
