IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Savannah! This beautiful Siamese is a young cat approximately 2 years old and 7 pounds. Savannah is on allergy medication and may need to be on it long term. It is not expensive, but our vet does feel she may need daily meds. She is a good sport and takes her medication without issues. Savannah is a very sweet and quiet kitty. She enjoys coming around on her own time but also loves a good nap in a corner. She is good with the resident calm dog. Savannah would do best in a calm home that is quieter. Savannah is fine as an only cat or would do well with another cat in the home. She has lived with kitties as she has been a mommy and lived with her kittens. She is litter trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, Combo tested Negative and microchipped. The adoption fee for this cat is $200.00. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** **You must be at least 25 years old to adopt an animal from Canines & Kitties Rescue.** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. Cats adopted through Canines & Kitties Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). *If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. *

Story
This gorgeous brother-sister pair were born outside to a feral mom, and have spent the months since a trapper rescued them learning that life inside is good and people are kind. They have been besties all their short lives, leaning on each other as they navigated their changed world, being each other's playmates and cuddle partners. When Emmy got sick with FIP Geordie scarcely left her side, comforting and stabilizing her with his presence through those first critical days, and he has continued watching over her as she has healed. Now that Emmy has finished her FIP treatment, she and Geordie are finally ready to find their forever people. She is a bright spirit, fast learning she was born to be the Princess and have people of her own to rule. She follows her foster mom around, wanting scritches and chin rubs and play, usually curling up near mom when she's tired and ready to rest. Geordie is her loyal cavalier, as outrageously handsome as he is shy and sweet. He engages through play, and foster mom loves seeing him get "kitten eyes" when the toys come out. He is quite happy to trade affection for Churus and crunchy treats, and will often lie near mom for strokes. Emmy and Geordie need to find their home together. Adjustment will take some time for them, but an experienced cat person will be able to help them blossom, and will reap the rewards. They are spayed/neutered, up to date on their shots, and are good with other cats. Their foster welcomes home visits to get to know this adorable pair.

Story
Meet Fortune : Your Quiet, Blue-Eyed Companion 🐾 Fortune is a stunning, blue-eyed boy with a gentle soul and a quiet way of making himself part of your everyday life. This intelligent Siamese–Russian Blue thrives in a calm, loving home and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. Fortune came to Four Paws from a partner shelter in Southern Virginia after his owner sadly passed away. He had been living in a quiet home, and that background really shows, he feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment with a predictable routine. He’s more of a “be near you” cat than a “be on you” cat. Fortune loves curling up nearby, keeping you company while you go about your day. When he wants attention, he’ll let you know with a soft, sweet meow. He’s incredibly smart (he’ll even come running when you call him!) and has a quiet, loyal presence that makes him easy to love. Fortune can be timid and a bit jumpy at first, especially in new environments. But with patience and a calm approach, he truly settles in and lets his affectionate, gentle personality shine. He has done well bonding with teens and will build a strong connection with a family who understands that trust takes a little time. Because of his sensitive nature, Fortune should be the only cat, as he can be territorial and feels most secure when he doesn’t have to share his space. Fortune does have some anxiety and is currently on medication to help him feel his best. He also has asthma, which is well-managed with daily medication. He takes both easily and does very well with a consistent routine. Fortune’s Details 🐾 DOB: 06/01/2020 Neutered: Yes Vaccines: Up to date Tested: Negative for FeLV & FIV Microchipped: Yes If you’re looking for a calm, intelligent, and deeply loyal companion who will quietly be by your side, Fortune may be your perfect match. Give him a little time and he’ll give you his whole heart. 💙

Story
Robin is a petite and slender Siamese lady, by appearances a lilac point. She comes to 4Paws from a rescue partner in Oak Hill WV after being surrendered by her owner who could not afford care for the many cats in the home. She has a confident and friendly personality. In her foster home she is getting along well with the resident cats. She is not interested in playing with any of them--in fact the ones that try to engage her in physical play get rebuffed -- but she has become a snuggle buddy with a few. For the most part she is a couch potato but on occasion she will play by herself with a fresh catnip banana. She enjoys 24/7 access to a good quality chicken-based kibble and twice-daily servings of juicy Fancy Feast canned as well as Temptations treats. She uses an open top, high sided litter box with World's Best unscented corn litter. She often follows her foster mom around the house and ends up chilling out in the same room, but she also spends time snoozing with one of the other cats. She likes human attention and petting. Because she likes being around another cat, she is best suited to a home with a friendly, low-key kitty to be a quiet companion. Robin is spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and has been micro chipped. ** PLEASE NOTE*** 4PAWS WILL ONLY CONSIDER LOCAL ADOPTIONS (NORTHERN VA/DC/MD METROPOLITAN AREA)

Have a Gouda day and meet Gouda! lf you are looking for a young petite cat with a sweet, talkative personality, Gouda is your match. This confident cutie will keep you company with a charming, raspy meow—particularly around mealtimes (and especially if you dawdle with their wet food!). Gouda adores under-the-chin scritches and will politely protest if you venture into “off-limits” territory (like grabbing a tail), with a gentle “Ack”. She is a playful cat, and loves catnip toys, silvervine, wand toys, and interactive fun. Gouda has expressed preference to lounge on a sturdy scratcher over a traditional cat bed. Ready to meet Gouda? She is ready to bring purrs, playtime, and delightful chats to a loving home! Gouda is current on vaccines, negative for FELV/FIV, spayed and microchipped. ** PLEASE NOTE*** 4PAWS WILL ONLY CONSIDER LOCAL ADOPTIONS (NORTHERN VA/DC/MD METROPOLITAN AREA)

Meet Daisy | 3-Year-Old Flame Point Siamese Daisy is a beautiful 3-year-old Flame Point Siamese with a cloud-soft white coat and striking light grey eyes that will melt your heart the moment you meet her. Daisy comes to 4 paws from a partner rescue in Tennessee. She is seeking her forever home in the DC metro area. Daisy may start out little shy but will quickly get adjusted. In her foster home she was venturing out to explore the house and satisfy her curiosity. As she grew more comfortable over the following days, her sweet and affectionate personality began to shine through. She welcomed gentle pets, and before long, her happy purr could often be heard from across the room. Daisy is a calm, gentle cat who enjoys wandering around the house, watching the world go by, and observing everything happening around her. One of her favorite spots is by a window, where she can happily sit and keep an eye on the outside world. She's naturally curious and likes to quietly follow her people from room to room, making sure she doesn't miss out on anything. While she's not overly demanding, she loves affection and companionship and clearly enjoys being close to her humans. She also settled in with the resident cat in her foster home and has also been comfortable living alongside a young toddler. Daisy has a gentle nature and takes new experiences in stride once she's had a little time to adjust. Daisy is looking for a loving home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace and enjoy all the pets, attention, and companionship she deserves. Daisy is spayed, current on vaccinations, negative for felv/fiv and is microchipped. *** PLEASE NOTE*** 4Paws will only consider local adoptions (Northern VA / DC / MD metropolitan area) 4Paws does not adopt to students
