Story
Meet Juju! Juju is a gentle, blue-eyed girl with a soft heart and a shy spirit. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she blossoms into the sweetest companion. Juju may do best in a home without other pets or children. Juju loves quiet moments, cozy naps, and a calm home where she can feel safe and loved. She’s looking for a patient adopter who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace — and be rewarded with a loyal, loving friend.Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Story
Meet Kiki – A Sweet Senior Hoping for a Cozy HomeKiki is a gentle, golden-hearted senior kitty who’s dreaming of a calm home where he can be your one and only. He absolutely loves a soft bed and can be found curling up on one whenever he has the chance, he would be the perfect reading buddy! He has a bit of arthritis, but it’s currently well-managed with a daily joint supplement and occasional Solensia injections. He’ll need an adopter who can lovingly continue his care, keep an eye on his comfort, and help him stay on track with his weight-loss plan so his joints stay happy. What makes Kiki extra special is his soft, affectionate nature. He adores quiet moments, gentle company, and warm spots to curl up in. He’ll truly thrive in a peaceful home with adults or older teens who appreciate a mellow, loving companion.Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Story
This gorgeous brother-sister pair were born outside to a feral mom, and have spent the months since a trapper rescued them learning that life inside is good and people are kind. They have been besties all their short lives, leaning on each other as they navigated their changed world, being each other's playmates and cuddle partners. When Emmy got sick with FIP Geordie scarcely left her side, comforting and stabilizing her with his presence through those first critical days, and he has continued watching over her as she has healed. Now that Emmy has finished her FIP treatment, she and Geordie are finally ready to find their forever people. She is a bright spirit, fast learning she was born to be the Princess and have people of her own to rule. She follows her foster mom around, wanting scritches and chin rubs and play, usually curling up near mom when she's tired and ready to rest. Geordie is her loyal cavalier, as outrageously handsome as he is shy and sweet. He engages through play, and foster mom loves seeing him get "kitten eyes" when the toys come out. He is quite happy to trade affection for Churus and crunchy treats, and will often lie near mom for strokes. Emmy and Geordie need to find their home together. Adjustment will take some time for them, but an experienced cat person will be able to help them blossom, and will reap the rewards. They are spayed/neutered, up to date on their shots, and are good with other cats. Their foster welcomes home visits to get to know this adorable pair.

Story
Meet Fortune : Your Quiet, Blue-Eyed Companion 🐾 Fortune is a stunning, blue-eyed boy with a gentle soul and a quiet way of making himself part of your everyday life. This intelligent Siamese–Russian Blue thrives in a calm, loving home and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. Fortune came to Four Paws from a partner shelter in Southern Virginia after his owner sadly passed away. He had been living in a quiet home, and that background really shows, he feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment with a predictable routine. He’s more of a “be near you” cat than a “be on you” cat. Fortune loves curling up nearby, keeping you company while you go about your day. When he wants attention, he’ll let you know with a soft, sweet meow. He’s incredibly smart (he’ll even come running when you call him!) and has a quiet, loyal presence that makes him easy to love. Fortune can be timid and a bit jumpy at first, especially in new environments. But with patience and a calm approach, he truly settles in and lets his affectionate, gentle personality shine. He has done well bonding with teens and will build a strong connection with a family who understands that trust takes a little time. Because of his sensitive nature, Fortune should be the only cat, as he can be territorial and feels most secure when he doesn’t have to share his space. Fortune does have some anxiety and is currently on medication to help him feel his best. He also has asthma, which is well-managed with daily medication. He takes both easily and does very well with a consistent routine. Fortune’s Details 🐾 DOB: 06/01/2020 Neutered: Yes Vaccines: Up to date Tested: Negative for FeLV & FIV Microchipped: Yes If you’re looking for a calm, intelligent, and deeply loyal companion who will quietly be by your side, Fortune may be your perfect match. Give him a little time and he’ll give you his whole heart. 💙

Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Robin is a petite and slender Siamese lady, by appearances a lilac point. She comes to 4Paws from a rescue partner in Fayetteville WV after being surrendered by her owner who could not afford care for the many cats in the home. She has a confident and friendly personality. In her foster home she is getting along very well with the resident cats and she has become a snuggle buddy with several of them. She likes to play with the catnip banana. She enjoys 24/7 access to a good quality chicken-based kibble and twice-daily servings of juicy Fancy Feast canned as well as Temptations treats. She uses an open top, high sided litter box with World's Best unscented corn litter. She often follows her foster mom around the house and ends up chilling out in the same room, but she also spends her time snoozing with one of the other cats. She likes human attention and petting. She purrs a lot and when in a fluffy bed or on a fluffy blanket she tends to make biscuits. Because of her demonstrated fondness for being close to other cats, she is not suited to be adopted as a single. She needs a home with another friendly, equally snuggly young kitty. Robin is spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and has been micro chipped. ** PLEASE NOTE*** 4PAWS WILL ONLY CONSIDER LOCAL ADOPTIONS (NORTHERN VA/DC/MD METROPOLITAN AREA)

Story
Have a Gouda day and meet Gouda! lf you are looking for a young petite cat with a sweet, talkative personality, Gouda is your match. This confident cutie will keep you company with a charming, raspy meow—particularly around mealtimes (and especially if you dawdle with their wet food!). Gouda adores under-the-chin scritches and will politely protest if you venture into “off-limits” territory (like grabbing a tail), with a gentle “Ack”. She is a playful cat, and loves catnip toys, silvervine, wand toys, and interactive fun. Gouda has expressed preference to lounge on a sturdy scratcher over a traditional cat bed. Ready to meet Gouda? She is ready to bring purrs, playtime, and delightful chats to a loving home! Gouda is current on vaccines, negative for FELV/FIV, spayed and microchipped. ** PLEASE NOTE*** 4PAWS WILL ONLY CONSIDER LOCAL ADOPTIONS (NORTHERN VA/DC/MD METROPOLITAN AREA)
