Hope for Donghae Paws(VIRGINIA)

Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food. We provide voluntary quarantine and rehabilitate emotionally and physically at local foster homes in Korea.. The dog receives TLC with all the treatments needed for recovery and reproduction, including spay / neuter and vaccination. Once the dogs are ready, we promote them through a variety of resources, find their forever homes and begin entering the United States. We are an all volunteer run rescue with no paid members and NO FACILITY. We rely solely on foster homes provided by our generous Volunteers who keep the dogs in their homes until adopted. Our mission is to find US homes for mixed, handicapped, senior, and large-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
