Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tex comes to us all the way from the Houston area.
To make a long story short, he was found abandoned in the woods near the home of the mother of one of our volunteers. She coaxed him into her home and after checking with all the shelters and finding there was no room anywhere - she drove him out to Los Angeles.
Tex is a little shy and is quite scared of "big city noises". His foster Mom is gently leading him outside every day so he can hear cars and planes and other city noises and become acclimated to LA life.
He's a little guy - only 37 pounds at a year old. He loves other dogs and is really playful once he gets going. His best friend at his foster home is our boy Bobby. https://dawgsquad.org/bobby.html
Tex can also be quite a cuddler once he gets to know you.
Tex would like a home with another dog - it won't matter what size just as long as the other dog likes to play!
