My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opie is one of a passle of pups brought here from Arkansas by two (some would say dedicated, some would say cuckoo) Dawg Squad volunteers.

They drove through the Blizzard of December 2014 to save Opie and his family from certain doom.

And we are glad they did!

Opie's Mom is Qiana and she is a sweetheart. She is a Plott Hound/Great Dane mix. Dad was a purebred Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog.

Opie has opinions about everything and we think he's learned to say NO. It could be our imagination but....

Opie is curious, energetic and has the housebreaking routine at his foster home down perfectly. He is crate-trained and sleeps through the night.

Opie has a lot of love to give....come and get some!
