Stanley's Story...
Stanley and Iris were relinquished to a Paw’d Squad Volunteer after their family lost their home. The two are very attached and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. However, if this isn’t the case, they must each go to a home with another dog – they cannot be an only dog. Stanley is a male, Chihuahua/Doxie mix who is about 1 ½ years old. He is very shy at first but warms up to you very quickly. Both Stanley and Iris were outdoor dogs, never having been inside a house. It was a challenge to get them to come indoors, but they are doing much better now. Stanley loves to play, but he also likes to snuggle. We think that they did not get any love at their previous home. H is not too fond of cats should not go to a home with cats. He would make a great little brother to your current dog. Stanley weighs 12 pounds

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a West Los Angeles Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
