Hi, my name is Hannah. I am a super sweet and beautiful young Malamute! I am only 16 months old and weigh about 70 pounds. I think I may still even grow a little more. I have quite a bit of energy and would love to find a family who can be active with me. The first year of my life was kind of rough. Before I was even one year old I had 7 puppies. Right after I had the puppies someone dropped me off at the shelter. The people at the shelter figured out that I had ringworm. While I had treatment I had to spend a long time away from any other animals, or many people until I recovered and was not contagious anymore. I was so excited when I found out that I am all better now, and someone from the rescue came to get me. I am ready to enjoy my life and find my forever home. I love being with my foster family because they have two boys, two Malamutes, and a Miniature Pincher. I have a lot of fun playing with them all. My favorite thing we do together is play chase. I think I could run back and forth across the lawn for hours. I love to play with my ball, and have even made up my own game. I toss the ball in the air and pounce on it. My foster family thinks I am really fun to watch, and I make them laugh a lot.
My foster mom says that I am a pretty good listener and I am going to be able to learn a lot. I already know how to sit and lie down when I am told, and I will always do it for a treat. I am still learning how to come when I am called, but my foster mom says she knows I can be good at it with a little more training. When I walk on the leash I will pull like Mals do, especially when I see a squirrel. I am going to keep practicing on a leash because I love going for walks. I really like to snuggle and give kisses. I have so much love to give, and hope that I will find my forever family to share it with.
