Meet the intrepid Marco. Named for the explorer Marco Polo, this guy has exploration and discovery down to a science. Famous for exploring the entire veterinary office when he was first rescued, he is a favorite with the vet staff. Marco adores people and gets along with most cats once he knows them. He has a huge purr and loves snuggles and pets more than food. He is approximately 5-6 years old with mesmerizing ice-green eyes and a medium haired coat. He was very thin when first rescued and is starting to fill out now he has had regular food and a warm bed in which to sleep. He is currently in a foster home in Kneeland. He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is up to date on his shots, and already microchipped. He is a nice boy who interacts easily with both adults and
cat-friendly children. Marco gets along with other cats too. If you would like to meet Marco, contact Shannon@sierrapacificfurbabies.com or
707-441-9502. An application, safety homecheck and adoption fee of $70 is required for adoption. Discount available to seniors, military/veterans, and on disability. He is a real sweetheart. Come meet him and decide for yourself.

About Sierra Pacific Furbabies NorCal

About Our Rescue Group...

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
