My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we first saw Spice she was skin and bones, fur was missing over 70% of her body and she was covered in scabs.

She also had two open wounds on both of her front legs. She was withdrawn and trembling in her kennel.

There was no hesitation – Spice had to join Dawg Squad.

And look at her now – one month later. Her fur is growing back, she’s getting chubby and her leg bandages come off on 5/14/16.

Best of all, she is interacting with all our volunteers and is enjoying her new life. She’s not afraid anymore!

This is a special girl.

Spice gets along with all dogs, is easy with kids and is fine with cats. She’s been through so much in her short life but that’s all behind her! The best is yet to come! Soon she will have a forever home. Could it be yours?
