Tucker here! My favorite hero, Superman, rescued me from a shelter and a fate I don’t even want to think about! Does that make me Wonder Boy? I think that’s appropriate because I wonder what I did that was so terrible. I wonder why my people didn’t come get me. I wondered what would happen to me. Then, there he was…Superman! He loaded me up and away we went on to big adventures.
So about me… I am a year to year and a half old mostly Mal boy. I think somewhere along the line one of my relatives wagged their tail at a Husky since I do have a few of their characteristics. I love being with people a lot, love singing and giving kisses. I am definitely house trained and my foster mom was told I am good with most other dogs and cats. Yes…cats! Moonsong plans on double checking that soon though. I also love walks and do pretty well with something called an Easy-Walk Harness.
I am current on my shots and soon I will be going to get "tutored". I guess after that I will be a whole lot smarter and ready for my fur-ever home. I have to be honest. I heard someone call me a ‘Houdini’ once or twice. I guess that means I need an ultra-secure kennel with a top and a dig barrier. I have been known to either jump out of a 6’ fence or dig under it so that I could go find my people. I also have a slight case of separation anxiety. I can do some pretty mournful howling if left for long in my kennel but if I am with my people, I don’t do any of that.
I would love to have my very own permanent home with people and maybe another furry friend to play with. I hope you can get past the few little flaws that I have and see all the love I want to give someone. If you can, I will be waiting to start our adventures together!
