Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce myself, Sparky is my name. Believe me, Sparky is an appropriate name for an energetic young fellow like me! I have the typical malamute personality; I love to take walks with people (and I walk very nicely, too!), I love to watch TV with people, I love taking car rides with people, I love it when people pet me, I love it when people tell me what a good boy I am! Hey, do you see the common denominator here?? PEOPLE! I am very well socialized and love PEOPLE! I do well with dogs of my own size, and enjoy playing with them, so a home with a friendly, playful dog around my size would be fine with me. I do have one other malamute quirk, however; I have a strong prey drive so small dogs and kitties are not going to work for me. And my new family will need a tall secure, climb proof fence - I am very athletic and can leap tall buildings in a single bound, so to speak. I also can’t be allowed to go on any outside unsupervised adventures. I would love to have a family of my very own, someone willing to spend time with me and tell me how special I am. I would do best with a family with older children or no children. I do need further training and lots of exercise. An attentive, loving family would make me the happiest dog on the planet! Do you have the time and the energy and the spark for me? Sparky is my name!

Sparky is a nimble, athletic guy and it will be mandatory to have a CLIMB PROOF fence. Before adoption is allowed we will need to inspect the fence and make suggestions for alterations so he can’t get out for walkabouts.
