Hi everyone! My name is Rocco (like "roca" with an o) and I'm a young guy in search of a new home. I was purchased as a puppy and then my humans moved and left me homeless. A nice lady with a rescue group in my city in AZ stepped up to help me and contacted Moonsong and now here I am - in Idaho! I'm only about 1.5 years old and still a puppy. I do know how to sit and down and don't pull that much on leash. I've got lots of energy, though, and would love an active family who will take me on lots of outings. I've never been in the snow and am really looking forward to that!
My coat is longer than normal, so I will need to be brushed so I won't get matted. I like to swim and used to be able to swim in our pool to keep cool. When in boarding I was in a play group with other dogs and I really liked that. I used to live with a couple smaller dogs but I don't think I would do that well with cats. I've also been around younger children, but I'm big and rambunctious and can knock the little ones down.
Even though I am pretty well behaved, there is lots I still don't know and I would benefit from going to obedience training with my new humans. I am treat motivated and very willing to learn. I am in boarding right now and would love to spend my time in a foster home or better yet, my very own happily ever after home!
