MALIK's Story...
Hey I’m Malik! I’m a very handsome, big boy with grey and sable marking. I have found myself some new digs in a foster home in Boise and I’m loving the attention! I am very well trained; I even recall well. I’m also housebroken and crate trained. I've made good friends with the older male and feisty female in my foster home and fallen in love with every person that has come to meet me and even discovered that I do well with children. But because of my strength and size, I think it would be best if my new home didn’t have children younger than 7 or 8 yrs old. I’m just a sweet mellow guy who’s looking for a new family that will give me a warm home, lots of pets and walks or runs and a big back yard for me to play in.

Like all Moonsong malamutes, I am current on inoculations, micro chipped, and neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MALIK, a Boise Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Boise, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
