Hello everyone, I am new here at Moonsong! I am being called Minidoka Red, and I have been going through some very rough times. I have been neglected to the point of near starvation, and my tail was taken from me. Animal Control picked me up, skinny and bleeding, but didn’t want to try and adopt me out. They were afraid that because of my condition that no one would want me. Some volunteers saw what a good, sweet boy I am and called rescue to help me. I understand that rescues and volunteers in several states stepped up to take care of me, and Pilots N Paws flew me to my vet, who took good care of me. I am now in foster care, my tail area is all healed, and I am gaining weight. I am neutered, current on inoculations and micro chipped. I dearly love humans, and get along well with other dogs and even do well around cats! I have not been reactive to the cows near my foster home nor have I tried to escape the yard by digging or jumping. I have perfect house manners and wait my turn for treats and take them gently. I know basic commands, and adore attention, am house trained, and travel very well in all kinds of transportation vehicles, as my Pilot friends can attest. Maybe you could look past my missing tail plume and into my heart? I would love to be yours forever.
