Sarah's Story...
Sarah is extremely sweet and loving. She would be the perfect family dog….gentle, kind, willing to please. She was originally rescued by a young man while he was in college and had lots of time to spend with her. Now, he has a full time job that requires traveling and poor Sarah is left alone for a good part of the week with only room-mates to feed her. This young man realizes Sarah needs more and while he is devastated to release her to rescue, he knows Sarah needs a family to cuddle with and make happy. She is completely housebroken, great with kids and other dogs. Sarah is about 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a West Los Angeles Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
