My name is Rex!

Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff Mix Dog for adoption in West Los Angeles, California - Rex

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Rex's Story...
Rex is a sweet retriever / mastiff mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He was recently rescued from a gas station where he had been abandoned. Rex knows commands, is very good on a leash, is VERY smart and learns fast. He thinks he's a lap dog who only wants to snuggle! Rex has been to our trainer and has had an intense 2 week "doggie boot camp" workout to get him ready for his new home. Because we really do not know what his past has been like, we would like to place Rex in a calm home with MAYBE a quiet female dog but absolutely no small children.
UPDATE: REX HAS JUST GRADUATED OBEDIENCE SCHOOL WITH FLYING COLORS. HE IS GETTING ALONG GREAT WITH TWO OF THE DOGS IN OUR RESCUE AND IS JUST BLOSSOMING. COME AND MEET THIS WONDERFUL DOG AT OUR SATURDAY ADOPTION!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a West Los Angeles Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/English Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
