My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Max. I am approximately 4 years old, and am currently living with a very nice foster mom. She takes me running almost every single day. When I came to her home, I was overweight and not very happy. But she is taking care of that! I have already lost a bunch of weight and am feeling so much better!

At my new foster home, I have been introduced to a male and a female dog and have been getting along just fine with both of them. We’ve had a couple of little growlies at each other about important stuff, but nothing serious. In my former home, I was buddies with a really small dog, (6 lb.). I was taken in for a bath not long ago, and while I was there I saw two cats. I don’t know why, but my foster people got really excited, because they thought I am probably cat friendly. What’s the big deal? They are just cats. I ignored them. I guess they are thinking that with proper introductions I could live with a cat. I never thought much about it.

I can live with a family that doesn’t have little kids, (under 8). I don’t like kids to be mean and stick their fingers in my ears, or my face. My prior family didn’t teach their kids any manners, but I was the one that got the boot. Not fair.

I am a very friendly boy, and I love to get those belly rubs! I’ve been through the mill lately and got all that dog stuff like shots, microchip and neutered. But even after all that, I still love people! Would you like to give me a forever home? I would be the most grateful pup on the planet!
