Mickey's story is one of resilience and hope. This charming Chihuahua mix was born in March 2021 and found himself wandering the streets, alone and scared. Fortunately, in May 2023, he was rescued by the compassionate team at Chihuahua Rescue, who saw his potential for a brighter future.

Mickey's past experiences have left him cautious around humans. He hasn't had the opportunity to know trustworthy individuals, but he's on a courageous journey towards rehabilitation. Day by day, Mickey is learning to trust again. He may be timid around people, but he's not giving up on the possibility of finding his forever home.

In the right environment, Mickey does enjoy playtime, albeit cautiously. Quick movements can still startle him, but his cautious optimism shines through as he engages in moments of play and companionship. While he's not currently available for adoption, Mickey's progress is a testament to the power of love and patience.

Our dogs are at our adoption events held twice a month, weather permitting. Please visit website or Facebook for details on dates.

Additional adoption info

Adoption applications are required; we do home checks. We request that if you are interested to adopt, please complete an application and return vis email or bring to adoption event. We hold monthly adoption events since all of our dogs are in foster homes. We don’t have a location or building.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are in foster care; however, we do have adoption events and post the information on our web page and on Facebook.

Our dogs come to events at Petsmart stores. We are located in front of the store, look for adoption trailer and play yard. This will ensure your opportunities to meet the available dogs.
