Meet Thor ⚡🐾
A study in contradictions and honestly… a whole vibe.
Thor is sweet as sugar 🍯, affectionate, and loyal to the core. He loves other dogs… on his terms. He’s the kind of guy who wants to say hello, but appreciates good manners and personal space. Respect the vibe and you’re golden. ✨
This handsome cuddle bug is house trained, fully vetted, and absolutely smitten with people, car rides 🚗, and pup cups ☕. Around Castoff Pet Rescue, Thor is known as the “office dog” because of his calm presence, polite manners, and love of just hanging out with his people. He’s also our go-to dog tester because when it comes to friendly, well mannered dogs, Thor really shines 🐕🤝.
But let’s keep it real. Thor is not just sunshine and kisses 💋. He’s got layers. Like an onion. Or a parfait. And those layers need an experienced human to understand and manage them.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.
