My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💖 Meet Sandy, Our Rose Gold Girl 💖

Miss Sandy came to us under some pretty strange circumstances. She was reportedly found roaming along 515, but we have a feeling there’s more to her story. What we do know for sure is this. Sandy needed a fresh start, and fresh starts are what Castoff Pet Rescue does best.

When Sandy arrived, she was terrified. Everything was too big, too loud, too much. Our staff and volunteers have been taking it slow, letting her set the pace, and showering her with gentle love. She’s warm, cozy, well fed, and finally able to rest.

We’re already moving forward with her vetting, and she’ll be getting spayed soon. Sandy is young, absolutely stunning with her rose gold coloring, and has all the makings of a truly wonderful family dog. Once she’s feeling a little less overwhelmed, we’ll be dog and cat testing her too.

This is a dog who belongs in someone’s arms. STAT.
She’s soft, sweet, and precious beyond words.

If you’re looking for a soul to save and a heart to love, Sandy is waiting. 🐾💗

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
