Sandy is an absolute angel baby. Truly. Sweet as pumpkin pie, which is exactly how she earned her nickname “Punkin.” She has a few adorable bursts of puppy energy and loves a good run when she gets the chance, but her real passions are toys, belly rubs, and soaking up love like it’s her full time job.
Sandy would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. Since being placed on a consistent, high fiber diet for the past two weeks, she’s already doing ten times better. Whatever her past looked like, we do know she was very stressed before coming to us, and being dumped at a shelter did not help her anxiety. Despite that, she has blossomed beautifully.
It didn’t take Sandy long to fall in love with our volunteers, and she brings joy to everyone she meets. She walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, and is already potty trained. Basically, she’s checking all the boxes and wagging her tail while doing it.
Sandy is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her patience, consistency, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a heart full of sweetness, Sandy might just be your girl. 💛🐶

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.
