Meet Henry the Hound — goofy, loyal, and 100% heart. 💛
You know that one friend who’s a total goofball, always happy to see you, and has absolutely no idea how big they are when they crawl into your lap? That’s Henry.
This boy was born right here at Castoff Pet Rescue to his sweet mama, Maple. From the start, he was pure sunshine — floppy ears, happy tail, and the kind of face that could get him out of any trouble (and trust us, he’s tried).
Henry got adopted as a puppy, and we thought his story was set for happily-ever-after. But life threw him a rough curveball. His adopter broke their promise and gave him away — and the people who got him next didn’t treat him the way a good boy like Henry deserves. Eventually, he was dumped like he didn’t matter. 💔
But oh, does he ever matter.
Despite everything, Henry is still the same sweet, affectionate, goofy pup we raised. He’s proof that love really does win.
🎓 He’s a proud Colwell Rescue Program graduate — meaning he’s got manners, smarts, and charm to spare. Sit, stay, heel, melt your heart… he’s mastered them all.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
