My Journey I came to Smittens from San Bernardino County’s Devore shelter with my little stepfamily.
My Social Life Cats? Total social butterfly — I love having a friend to wrestle and snuggle with. Dogs? Still deciding (I haven’t met any yet!). Kids? I prefer a calm, grown-up crowd.
My Personality I’m a playful bundle of energy who turns into a total snuggle bug the moment I feel at home! I love following my human everywhere and curling up right next to them. Need attention? I’ll make sure you notice me—with all the sweetest rubs and cuddles. Affectionate, loving, and impossible to resist!
I Enjoy… Chasing wand toys (my absolute favorite!) Tumble time and race sessions with my kitty friends Watching the fish app on your phone — it’s mesmerizing Belly rubs!!!
I’m Not a Fan Of… Sudden loud noises — they make me jump Fast, overwhelming introductions Chaotic environments (I’m a quiet-home-loving girl!)
What Makes Me Special My “fish app fascination” ! I`m addicted to catnip ! Cutest little meow when my human is out of sight.
My Perfect Home I’d thrive in a calm, quieter home with someone patient who’ll give me time to settle and feel safe. I really shine with other cats and would love a feline friend to play with.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
