My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I`m Taylor Swift, and let me be perfectly clear: I am a diva, and I own it. I am ready to shake off the stray outdoor life and move into your palace!

I adore being worshipped! Pets are my favorite thing—I will purr like a motorcycle when you pet my head and tell me I`m the prettiest girl. If you want to win my heart instantly, just know I am very food motivated! Treats are the fastest way to become my favorite person. But note that while I love being pet, I`m not so crazy about being `handled` -- I may object until the petting starts.

Now, about roommates... I`m a professional, so I`ll tolerate other cats, but I really prefer to be the solo star. I need my personal space, so please make sure I have a quiet place all to myself -- or with my buddy, Shakira.

If you`re looking for a gorgeous, affectionate, and opinionated queen to rule your home, then I`m the cat for you!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
