Hi there, I’m Kal El—yep, like Superman! 🦸‍♂️

But unlike Superman, I haven’t found my forever family yet. I’ve been in foster care the longest, and honestly, I don’t know why. I’m a loyal, goofy, loving Husky mix from Tennessee just waiting for someone to see how special I am.

I’m about 3–4 years old, with a striking coat that’s shorter than a typical Husky’s, which means you get all the handsome looks with a little less fluff to manage. I’m a big, strong boy who loves life, people, and adventure.

I’m a classic Husky at heart—smart, talkative, full of personality, and always ready to be part of the action. I love to “talk” to my humans and make sure my voice is heard, especially if you’ve forgotten to give me attention. Silence isn’t really my thing—I like to keep the conversation going!

Like most Huskies, I enjoy being active. A good walk, a romp in the yard, or some spirited playtime with dog friends makes me one happy guy. I play hard, but when I’m done, I’m all about the epic Husky naps—preferably somewhere I can stretch out and relax near my people.

I love all humans, but kids have a special place in my heart. I’m gentle and affectionate with them, and I absolutely soak up their love and attention. I also do well with dogs of all sizes and ages with proper introductions—I’m a social guy, just like my breed is known for.

I’m also bright and eager to learn. I know how to sit and sit up, and with some structure and patience, I’d love to keep learning more. Huskies are clever thinkers, and I’m no exception!

Oh, and let me brag for a second—I take treats very gently, and I’m a tug-of-war champion. I love a good game of tug, and while I’m careful with my mouth and know when I’m close to your fingers, don’t expect me to let you win just because you’re human. I bring my A-game every time!

I’ve been overlooked for too long, and it’s not because of anything I’ve done—it’s just bad luck. But I know my forever family is out there. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal, talkative, smart companion who will fill your life with laughter, adventure, and love, I just might be your guy.

Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process.
